Chapter 2377
Kevin and Hayden were the only ones left in the private dining room.
Hayden tried to pull her hand away, but Kevin had a good hold of her. He would not let her go.
“How long are you going to keep up with the act, Kevin?”
Kevin lay on the table, refusing to release Hayden’s arm.
“Come on. Let’s drink! One more!”
Hayden scowled at him.
She took a while to calm herself. Whether Kevin was faking his intoxication or not, she had to take him
back to his hotel across from Jensburg Hotel.
Hayden gave in and got up, then helped the drunk man out of the room. She planned to take him back
to Fortress Hotel.
Several minutes later, Hayden helped Kevin to a bed and laid him down.
He finally let go of her hand.
Since Kevin dozed off right away, Hayden believed that he must be drunk for real.
Hayden bent over to remove his shoes and socks. She repositioned his sleeping posture and tucked
him in before sitting by the bed to watch him.
While watching him, Hayden gave him a squeeze on the cheek and said, “Did you have to drown your
sorrow in alcohol because I refused to attend the wedding as your girlfriend? I’ve never been a
bridesmaid. I don’t have the courage to be Serenity’s bridesmaid.”
Hayden received an invitation from Serenity to be part of her bridal party.
She turned Serenity down.
Hayden had not decided whether she wanted to publicly declare that she was a woman for Kevin’s
sake yet.
She had never been a bridesmaid, so she declined Serenity’s offer.
However, she had been a groomsman a few times before.
Hayden had been a groomsman to the son of another business figure. She did not decline because
Queen Enterprise had long business ties with that family.
Her experience only covered being a groomsman and not a bridesmaid.
Serenity understood and did not blame Hayden for it. Nevertheless, Kevin had been sulking for the last

Hayden assumed that his sudden foul mood must be because of the bridesmaid incident.
Kevin was asleep, so he did not hear what Hayden had said.
“I’ll finish my work for today, and I’ll be happy to accompany you to Wiltspoon tomorrow for Zachary
and Serenity’s wedding.”
When Josh and Jasmine got married, the Queens attended the wedding out of respect for Josh.
This time, they were heading to Wiltspoon two days in advance. The Queens were honored to attend
Zachary and Serenity’s wedding.
Donald told the rest of the family that Zachary was soon to be family when Hayden was to marry Kevin.
They should go earlier to see if they could help out with the wedding.
The Queens were not in a hurry to leave for Jensburg after the wedding either. They planned to stay for
a few days so that Hayden could learn more about her future in-laws.
“I dressed as a woman for you, Kevin. I know only you got to see me in a dress, but it shows that I love
you. I just don’t know how to express my feelings.”
Hayden caressed his face.
Kevin was good-looking.
