“Don’t worry. I will promote your family gym after I learn from you. I won’t do anything to break the law.”
Julian, who was a good fighter, pretended like he was a defenseless man. He showed his interest in
joining the Crawfords’ gym.
That way, he could be with Quinn every day and she was bound to fall in love with him.
Only Quinn could make him feel like a man again. He was determined to keep her for himself, and notnovelbin

Quinn tilted her head and looked at Julian. While walking, she said with a smile, “You’re a little old, so
training can take time. If you’re interested in building strength and nothing else, you can ask my dad or
my brother if they would accept you as a student.”
Julian asked, “You’re not going to teach me?”
“I usually teach kids. My dad teaches the adults. As I’ve told you, late learners usually take up self-
defense for fitness. My dad can teach you the basics.
“The basics go a long way. You always work behind the desk. You will feel better by working out with
my dad.”
She looked at Julian’s frame and commented with a grin, “You’re unlike other CEOs I know. You must
be keeping up with your exercise routines since you look fit.”
Julian was honest with his reply. “I exercise regularly. I’ll get a plane ticket to join you on your flight
back. I can visit your dad and see if he will accept me as a student.”
Quinn did not put much thought into it. She readily said, “Sure thing. What about your work?”
“I’ll make sure everything is in order before I go. My company is well-oiled and my team is efficient. I’m
confident that the company will run smoothly without me.”
Walter would be around even if Julian was away anyway. There would always be someone running the
show.
Even though Walter would rather spend his time elsewhere, Julian had cousins who were more than
capable to help. Josh could run the company himself too.
“In that case, you can join us. We’ll be leaving in two days. My dad will see if you have the potential to
work out at the gym. He only accepts promising students. Otherwise, my colleagues are free to take
you in as well.
“They are more than capable of helping students with the basics since it’s all about fitness.”
Julian replied, “I’m interested in training for fitness. If I keep up with it, I might learn enough to protect
myself whenever I’m being robbed.”
With her mind wandering back to the incident the other night, Quinn reminded Julian, “Your safety
comes first, Mr. Bucham. Money is not important, especially when you’re up against many armed
robbers. You can’t bring your wealth to the grave, and no amount of money can be exchanged for your
life. You can always earn more money, but you don’t get second chances with your life.”
“Thank you for the advice, Ms. Crawford. I will take it to heart. My focus will always be on staying alive
if I ever come across such an encounter again. But I will fight back if they try to harm me.”
“You’re young and successful, and your success can drive many people jealous. Just be careful. I hope
you take the classes seriously if my dad accepts you. At least, you’d have a better chance at defending
yourself.”
Quinn would try to convince her father to accept Julian as a student despite his age.
The pair talked and quickly went into the café.
