Chapter 2330

However, those ladies were not as healthy as Grandma May. Despite being old, she often traveled by

plane to pick wife candidates for her grandsons.

‘We’re unfilial,’ Dylan thought.

If his nana had not given them the task, he would have gotten married after he turned thirty-five yearsnovelbin

old instead of twenty-eight.

Although he was envious of Zachary and Serenity’s happy marriage, he preferred freedom and being

unrestrained.

Grandma May had most likely guessed their thinking and knew they would only wed after hitting thirty.

Therefore, she tasked them with pursuing their wives.

“Nana can stay in shape by dancing. Besides, her dancing at home won’t disturb anyone.”

Zachary was aware that Grandma May had learned dancing from the old ladies in group dancing

sessions.

The elderly had always led a carefree life, unrestrained by their status or identity. As her grandsons,

they simply wished for her happiness and supported anything she did that brought her joy.

“Why were you looking for Nana?” Zachary asked.

As Dylan entered the kitchen, he whispered, “I wanted Nana to let me off the hook. I really don’t want to

get married this young. I planned to get married when I’m thirty-five, but Nana had already assigned me

a wife. I’ll be twenty-nine when the one-year limit is up. It’s ahead of my plans.”

Zachary chuckled. “You’ve been Nana’s grandson for twenty-eight years. Haven’t you understood her

character? You’re only wasting your energy.”

He thought Dylan and Peter would have known better and accepted their nana’s arrangements after

witnessing Kevin’s experience. It turned out that Dylan had been trying to dodge the bullet too.

Kevin only started making a move after delaying it for half a year. Consequently, he had to stay in

Jensburg to pursue his woman.

He would probably only return in a few days to attend Zachary and Serenity’s wedding.

Luckily for him, Serenity was around to be his relationship guru. She advised Kevin to pursue Hayden

openly, which sped up the process. If he had stuck to his plan by first revealing Hayden’s true gender, it

would have taken him a long time to win her heart over.

Dylan blushed from Zachary’s teasing.

“I just wanted to try my luck.”

“You must’ve been disappointed. I also put up a lot of resistance back then, but I still ended up

marrying Serenity. Of course, I don’t regret it at all. I’m happy now.”

Zachary turned and asked Dylan, “Do you want sunny side-ups?”

“Of course.”

“Then go ahead and make it yourself,” Zachary said as he passed the spatula to Dylan.

“Aren’t you preparing breakfast for me too?”

“I would’ve finished cooking if you had remained outside for a little longer. You came back early, and I

have only three sets of breakfast ready, for Serenity, Nana, and myself. Are you going to snatch one of

ours?”

Dylan said, “I would’ve lingered outside longer if I had known. I thought I could taste your cooking, but it

appears that I still have to make it myself.”

Luck was not on his side. He had no choice but to prepare his own breakfast despite his grumblings.

“What proposal did you come up with?” Zachary figured Dylan must have failed in negotiating with

Grandma May, but he was curious still.

Dylan told Zachary about his dreams.

He then whispered, “Zachary, if I become the first man to get a divorce in the York family, please go

easy on me when you’re punishing me as the head of the family.”
