Chapter 2328

Grandma May did not budge. She said, “Dylan, you can ask Kevin about this and learn from him.”

“I’m not running away, Nana. How can I do that when you’re doing all of this for our sake? I have really

been having those dreams for some time now, and they have all been about the woman in my

drawing.”

He could swear that he was telling the truth.

The dreams were real while wanting his nana to let him off the hook was also true.

“Let me reiterate. I’ve done lots of research before picking someone and finally deciding on your future

wife because she matches you. You’ve never met her nor tried to understand her. How could you be

sure she’s not suitable for you?

“Why not do it this way? If you can find the girl in your dreams, you can give up on the lady I’ve chosen

for you. I won’t hold it against you.”

Dylan said, “How can I find her from a sea of people?”

Initially, his plan was to use this matter to convince Grandma May to withdraw her matchmaking for

him. This would grant him the freedom to either wed on his own terms or remain single forever.

The York family had many members, and he did not have to carry the burden of continuing the family

lineage. Without him, his eight other cousins and brothers could get married and have children,

ensuring the York family’s future.

“Even Julian could find Quinn among the sea of people. He had it tougher than any of you did. You’ll

meet the girl if you two are fated. Otherwise, you won’t even recognize her even if she’s standing

before you.”

Dylan had no words. After some time, he muttered, “Mr. Bucham has help but I don’t.”

“This only makes it challenging. Where’s the surprise if you know everything beforehand?”

Dylan pouted and did not say a word. It seemed like his nana would not set him free, and was insisting

that he pursued the wife candidate chosen for him.

“Kevin will be engaged soon. You have to buck up, Dylan. I’m getting older. I don’t know how long I

have left, but I hope to witness all nine of you wed. That way, I can reunite proudly with your gramps in

heaven.”

“River and the rest are still young.”

Dylan envied Rowan the most. He was still a student and underage and their nana could not make

plans for him.

Why did a man have to marry after becoming an adult?

Dylan would rather be single. He did not want to pursue a woman he did not know, but he knew betternovelbin

than to think he could escape it.

Their nana was too sharp. If even Zachary could not escape her clutches, how could the rest of them

possibly do it?

“You must be jealous of Rowan, right? Try becoming a child again if you can. I won’t set a wife

candidate for you if you succeed. Then again, it’s actually possible. I can choose someone for you and

start nurturing your relationship early.”

Dylan said, “I’m only twenty-eight years old, Nana. I’m not that old.”

“Many are already a father of two at your age. How are you not old?”

Dylan shut his mouth.
