Chapter 2302

Knowing that Hugh had come for the drama, Hayden sighed and unlocked the door.

Hugh opened the office door and said, “Where’s Kevin? I heard he dressed up as a woman. Did he

come to our office?”

Hugh looked interested. He had rushed over as soon as he heard the news just so he could catch a

glimpse of the scene.

To think Kevin would dress up as a woman and lie about himself being his own twin sister.

For generations, the York family had been without daughters. Though no one could be sure if he

actually had a twin sister, nobody would be unaware if he did as the elders of the Yorks would have

spoiled her rotten.

Hayden looked unfazed. She asked coldly, “Who did you hear it from?”

“Many people were talking about it. I rushed over as soon as I heard. So, is it true? Have you seen

Kevin wear women’s clothes? Does he look pretty?

“I never thought he would dress up as a woman for you. I’m dying of laughter.

“Are you touched, Hayden? Kevin treats you pretty well. Although he approached you initially because

of his grandmother, he has later developed sincere feelings for you. I can sense it. Our parents, who

went through the same thing, can sense it too.

“Look at how much they adore Kevin. This means he’s a decent person. Our parents are more

experienced than us. Although they really want to witness you getting married, your happiness is still

their priority,” Hugh whispered as he was afraid of the secretary outside overhearing their conversation.novelbin

He lowered his voice further, “You should consider Kevin. Give him a chance.”

Hayden looked toward her brother and said, “Hugh, why are you putting in good words for Kevin? What

benefits did he offer you?”

Hugh chuckled. “Absolutely nothing. He didn’t offer me anything. I told him that he could please me, his

future brother-in-law, but his attitude toward me didn’t change; let alone offer me benefits.

“I want you to be happy. Kevin’s an excellent guy. He suits you.”

Hayden was a person of few words whereas Kevin was talkative. They complemented each other.

“Where’s Kevin, Hayden? I want to see him dressed up as a woman.”

Hugh circled back to the original subject after persuading Hayden. He was here for amusement after

all.

He had confirmed that Kevin’s car was still parked in front of the company building when he was

heading upstairs. Kevin had not left yet.

“Apologies my dear brother-in-law. Your intel didn’t reach you soon enough. I’ve been here for a long

time.”

Hugh heard Kevin’s voice. He turned toward the office door, but it was closed. When he turned to the

other side, he saw Kevin walking out of his sister’s lounge.

Hugh’s eyes widened. He even rubbed his eyes deliberately and said, “Hayden, I think there’s

something wrong with my eyes. Why am I seeing Kevin coming out of your lounge?”

Hayden said calmly, “It’s him.”

“Hayden!”

Hugh leaned in toward her and asked, “What did you two do in the lounge?”

Hayden playfully knocked him on the head right after he spoke.

Hugh did not get angry. He straightened his body and chuckled while touching the spot he was hit.

Then, he looked at Kevin walking over. As Kevin was not in a wig and dress as rumored, he asked,

“Didn’t you dress up as a woman? You lost a bet to Hayden, right? Are you going to be the submissive

one?”

Kevin laughed. “If she wants to be the dominant one in the relationship, I’m more than happy to oblige.”

Hayden glared at Kevin, so he quickly defended himself, “Hay, Hugh started this.”

He was like a hen-pecked husband.

Oh, but Hayden was not his wife yet.
