Chapter 2217

“Hayden will not like you. You’re a man!” Celine blurted in anger before storming off.

She could not beat Kevin.

Her mother often reminded her to avoid taking Kevin head-on as York Corporation stood behind Kevin.

Even her mother had to tread carefully around Kevin.

Kevin told the two security guards, “You can get back to work. Don’t bother with this psycho. Don’t

worry, I have your back.”

Well, he was curious to see if Madam Fisher would get even with him on the imposter’s behalf.

Kevin got a handle on the situation after Mrs. Stone’s discreet trip with Liberty to Jensburg—the Fishers

and the Yorks were on opposite sides.

Madam Fisher caused the death of Serenity’s grandmother!

The two security guards thanked Kevin and went back to their posts.

It was not as though they were afraid as they were merely carrying out Mr. Hayden’s orders to drag

Celine away. Celine was playing with fire to block Mr. Hayden’s way.

Celine should consider herself lucky that Mr. Hayden did not run her over.

She returned to her car to drive away, only to realize that her tires were flat. All four tires were flat.

Celine jumped out of the car and inspected the tires. Since there were no punctures, she did not know

how the air could have leaked.

One thing was for sure, it was a deliberate act.

Her tires were fine when she came to the place.

Besides, it only made sense if only one tire went flat.

How did all four lose air?

Celine furiously ran her mouth, “Who deflated my tires?”

The tires were intact, but the air was out. She suspected that someone deflated her tires.

Kevin gave her a smirk before approaching his vehicle without a word.

“It was you, Kevin. It must be you!”novelbin

The security guards did not have a chance to pull the act.

There was a lot of movement around Queen Enterprise, but none of the employees would have time to

deflate her tires.

The only exception was Kevin.

Only Kevin would have the chance.

Come to think of it, she noticed Kevin approaching her earlier from the direction of her vehicle.

It must have been Kevin!

“Do you have proof it was me? Otherwise, I’d advise you to quit yapping, or I’ll sue you for slander,”

Kevin uttered before driving off.

His rival may be cocky, but he would beat her on that.

Kevin showed no mercy when dealing with rivals.

Seething with rage, Celine watched as Kevin took off.

She then looked at her flat tires and stomped her foot. Celine whipped out her phone to give her

brother a call, but on second thought, he called Caroline instead.

Caroline answered.

“My car is broken, Caroline. I’m at Queen Enterprise. Come here and pick me up,” Celine commanded.

Without a word, Caroline hung up on Celine.

She was accompanying her mother to meet a client, and a very important one at that. Madam Fisher

only joined her for the meeting over a meal at the hotel after she had initiated a proposal and made

progress with the client.

The deal would bring great profit to Fisher Enterprise if it were to happen.

Madam Fisher held the business venture in high regard.
