Chapter 2211

Walter made his way to the sofa and placed the yellow envelope on the coffee table.

Sinking his bottom onto the sofa, he turned his head and commanded his son to hurry over and pick anovelbin

wife.

“Dad, I told you. I’m not interested in these women,” Julian replied as he drew close.

Walter uttered with a stern face, “You didn’t even look at them. How can you know that you’re not

interested in them? I found you girls aged twenty-four this time. The psychic said that the woman

destined for you is twenty-four years old this year. I wonder if she would mind the ten-year age gap

since you’re a lot older. Anyway, I will help you get the lady even if she minds.”

Julian scowled and responded, “If she and I are meant to be, I don’t need your help. I will take matters

into my own hands and pursue her.”

He was not a helpless man who needed help.

Sure, Julian enjoyed his bachelor life in the past and did not want to be tied down by marriage so

quickly.

Now that he had a diagnosis of his illness, Julian realized marriage had closed its doors on him since

he could never become a real man. He might be the heir of the Bucham family, but there was no

reason to let someone’s daughter live a life as a widow despite being in a marriage.

“Come and take a look. Your mother and I are worried sick, but you don’t seem to care at all. Aren’t you

nervous? Do you plan to be single forever?”

His son’s avoidance of looking at the pictures got on Walter’s nerves.

Walter had gone through a lot of trouble for Julian, but his ungrateful son refused to cooperate.

Julian played along, taking his time to pull out the photographs from the envelope. He then sat next to

his father and looked through the photos one by one.

Walter went all out for his son.

All these photographs only shared one thing in common, and that was they were twenty-four-year-old

unmarried women. They came in all shapes and sizes.

Julian looked at all the photographs and put them in a neat pile before stuffing them back into the

envelope.

“What do you think? So you feel nothing for any of the girls?”

By the calm look on his son’s face, Walter knew he hit a dead end again.

He took the envelope from his son and pulled out all the photos for a closer look. In the end, Walter

picked a dozen pictures of pretty girls out of the lot and handed them to his son while saying, “You can

check out this pile again. I think they are the best of the bunch.”

“Dad, it doesn’t matter how many times I look at the photos. I don’t feel anything for them. Just let

everything happen naturally. We should wait for it to happen since you believe the psychic Grandma

May recommended. The psychic said the woman for me is in Wiltspoon, so it’s just a matter of when I

will meet her.”

Walter gave Julian an angry look and ran his mouth, “You’re always out and about. It’s not like you’re

the most approachable person to women either. When are you ever going to meet her?”

“I mean, I must be out and about to meet her. You can’t expect her to walk straight into our house.”

Julian did not tell his father that he had his target locked on his woman of destiny.

He planned to withhold the information from his father until he found her.

Once Julian tracked down the girl and confirmed she was single and of good character, he would make

his move.

Although Julian got butterflies in his stomach for the girl on the keychain and was sure she could save

him, Julian did not jump straight to making her his.

Since a wife was one who would be with him for the days to come, Julian needed to assess her

character.

It was just like when Zachary married Serenity. He would not have fallen for her without knowing who

she really was.

Marriage was a significant milestone in life, and he could not be too careful.

Walter was speechless.
