“That’s because they’re blind and can’t see a treasure that is right in front of them.”
Remy pulled her into the Stone family villa and spoke as he walked, “I’m glad that they’re blind,
otherwise I’d get jealous if I had a whole bunch of love rivals.”
Elisa giggled.
She felt relaxed and at ease in front of Remy. What he liked was her true personality.
After sending the young couple home, Julian left the Stones’ residence and headed straight to his
home.

When Jasmine’s bodyguard saw Julian’s car, he quickly pulled over to the side and let Julian’s car pass
first.
Julian and Jasmine rolled down their car windows at the same time.
“Julian.”
Jasmine greeted him.
Julian hummed gently and asked, “Why are you coming home at this time?”
After Jasmine went back to looking after the bookstore, she always returned home at night.
“Mom called me back. There’s something she wants me to do, so I’m back.”
Julian smiled. “Then go and see what my aunt wants you to do.”
With that, he rolled up his car window and drove to the left.
Once his car was gone, Jasmine’s bodyguard started the car again and drove to the right.
The Bucham family lived together.
This land was their ancestral home.
Josh was Julian’s cousin, so his house was closest to Julian’s. In just a few minutes, the bodyguard
stopped in front of a large villa that was built incorporating old and modern architectural styles.
“There’s no need to drive in. I’ll probably go out again.”
Jasmine guessed that her mother-in-law called her back to deliver gifts to Serenity on behalf of Josh’s
family.
After all, Serenity and she were best friends.
“Yes,” the bodyguard responded respectfully.
Jasmine got out of the car alone and walked into the large villa.
As soon as she entered, she saw a courtyard that was not much different from other villas. However, as
she walked further in, the scenery started to change into a garden-like style. It had small bridges and
flowing water, winding paths, gazebos, and rockeries with fountains.
It gave people the illusion of traveling back to ancient times.
In the main hall, Rebecca was preparing gifts according to a list while someone next to her continued to
give her suggestions.
Jasmine felt a bit nervous when she saw that person. She was the nutritionist that the Bucham family
hired and was a very strict and serious person. All of Jasmine’s meals were formulated by this strict
nutritionist.
This nutritionist was also Rebecca’s extended family. She was Rebecca’s niece, which meant she was
Josh’s cousin.
Since they were related, even though she had strict requirements for everyone to follow the meal plans
she had set, no one dared to disobey. Those like Josh who did not want their meals to be controlled ate
all three of their meals outside.
