“Mr. Johnson, it doesn’t matter if you don’t want to sit in my car. I’ll understand. I came here to pick up
Ms. Stone. You’re just an add-on. If the add-on doesn’t want to be an add-on, then you can find your
own way back.”
Julian spoke with a smile, but to Remy, every word sounded like they had thorns, pricking at his heart.
Julian asked Elisa, “The suitcase in Mr. Johnson’s hand is yours, right? It’s pink so it should be yours.

Then, he stepped forward and took the suitcase from Remy’s hand, brought it to the back of the car,
and easily placed it in the trunk. After closing the trunk, he smiled at Elisa and said, “I reserved a table
at Wiltspoon Hotel and ordered your favorite dishes. We can go eat right away.
“You can go home after the meal, or if you want to go on a stroll, I can arrange for someone to
accompany you.”
In other words, he would not accompany Elisa himself.
Julian came to pick Elisa up, but he planned to leave once he sent her back.
His father found out that Zachary was going to be a father and looked at Julian with disappointment.
It was as if Julian could not give birth.

Only the people close to Serenity knew about her pregnancy, but this was not a secret to Julian at all.
He could hear a lot of news just by twitching his ear.
“Thank you, Mr. Bucham, but I want to go home directly.”
Elisa knew that since Julian came to her personally, he would find a way to make her sit in his car to go
home even if she refused.
Thus, she did not try to refuse and instead pulled Remy into Julian’s car.
Julian smiled and closed the door for her, then walked around the car. Just as he was about to get in
the car, he seemed to step on something. He looked down and saw that it was a bunch of keys.
Attached to the keyring was a small object that looked like a small photo frame, containing a one-inch
by one-inch photo.
Julian only noticed the small photo frame when he bent down to pick up the keys. He wiped off the dust
and looked at the person in the photo.
It was a girl. She looked to be in her early twenties. She appeared sweet, and her bright smile was like
a blooming flower. For some reason, Julian felt his heart beating faster as he looked at the girl in the
photo.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Bucham?”
Elisa saw Julian smiling at something and opened the door, poking her head out to ask.
“It’s nothing. I stepped on someone’s keys.”
Julian immediately put the keys in his pants pocket and got in the car as if nothing happened.
Elisa did not say anything and closed the car door.
Julian fastened his seatbelt while asking the two people in the back seat, “Are you sure you don’t want
to eat at Wiltspoon Hotel? I reserved a table for the both of you.”
Elisa smiled. “Thank you for the consideration, Mr. Bucham, but I want to go home. I would’ve gone
straight to Brynfield if not for the fact that I’m lugging around a suitcase.”
Serenity and Zachary were still at Brynfield.
They would only return to the villa in two days.
“Okay, I’ll send you home.”
Julian said casually, “I knew you came back for Serenity.”
“That’s right. I’m going to be an aunt soon. I was so happy that I wanted to grow wings and fly back last
night.”
Julian said while driving, “Aren’t you already an aunt? Sonny also calls you ‘Aunt’. Serenity just got
pregnant, but all of you are so overjoyed. I really envy how deep your bond is.”
They could only be this happy because they had a good relationship.
