Chapter 2184

“Nana, is there any way to stop Seren from vomiting?”

Grandma May said, “It’s normal to have morning sickness, but this only happens in the first trimester.

After three months, morning sickness will gradually clear. If it’s not too severe, she can endure it. If it is,

she should go to the hospital and see the doctor.

“Don’t simply take medications. Many medications can’t be taken during pregnancy,” Grandma May

reminded her grandson.

Serenity said, “Nana, I know. I won’t simply take medications. I’ll endure it.”

In the end, she said in admiration, “Why didn’t Jasmine vomit?”

Serenity wondered why she had this reaction but not Jasmine.

“Everyone is different. Some people don’t vomit when they are pregnant with their first baby. However,

they vomit terribly during their second pregnancy.”

Serenity touched her belly and said, “I hope I won’t vomit until the baby is delivered.”

“I’ll take Seren to the hospital for a checkup later. I’ll ask the doctor if there’s any way to make her

morning sickness less severe.”

“This is just the beginning for me. Perhaps I’ll stop vomiting a few days later.”

Liberty poured a glass of water and handed it to Serenity.

“Liberty, I don’t want to drink plain water. I’ll vomit once I drink it.

“Do you have any sour or salty food? Let me have some.”

Zachary said, “There are no extra snacks in the house. I’ve used up the sauerkraut for breakfast. I’ll get

someone to buy all the sour snacks right away.”

Mrs. Lane walked in from the balcony and added, “Does Missus want to eat something sour? If so, I’ll

go outside to get two packets of sour prunes.”

“Are there Persian sour plums? Oh, it’s impossible to have Persian sour plums during this season. Just

get the normal sour prunes then. I want sour ones. I want to eat them now.”

Mrs. Lane promptly went out to buy them.novelbin

Liberty reminded Serenity, “You can have one at a time. Don’t eat too many of them, or your teeth will

ache.”

“I know, Liberty.”

Zachary held Serenity to the couch and seated her. He leaned against her and looked at her

concernedly.

He bit his tongue several times.

Liberty went to clear the table.

Upon noticing Zachary’s expression, Grandma May said, “Zack, you don’t need to worry. Morning

sickness is something many pregnant women have to experience. You thought it was easy to raise a

child, huh?

“You should treat Seren even more nicely in the future. She’s willing to give birth to your child at her

best age and endure the pain of pregnancy without fearing changes in her body figure. That is because

she loves you. Don’t let Seren down, or I won’t let you off.”

From time to time, there would always be someone who would admire Zachary.

Grandma May believed that her grandson was not the kind who was fickle-minded.

Even so, she could not help but criticize her grandson.

Before Zachary spoke, Serenity defended the man and said, “Nana, Zachary has been treating me well

enough. He has made me the most admirable person in Wiltspoon.”

“Since you’re going to spend the rest of your life with him, he has to treat you well.”

Grandma May had always been biased toward her granddaughter-in-law.

“Nana, I won’t guarantee anything through words. I’ll show through action. Nana, when will Seren stop

vomiting? Is she going to vomit after every meal?”

Zachary’s focus was on his wife’s morning sickness.

He wanted to do what Clive had said and done previously. Nevertheless, he knew that he could not

learn from Clive.

If Zachary dared say that, Grandma May would definitely slap him.
