“Why are you still standing there? Come here!” Edwin snapped.
Jenna saw that there was nowhere to run, so she put on a smiling face, walked up to her father, and
said, “Dad, when did you come back? Why didn’t you tell me?”
Edwin did not just arrive. He came back after receiving a complaint from Zachary, but he did not go
home. Instead, he followed his daughter in secret and confirmed that she was indeed with a man who
looked like Zachary.
After seeing the truth with his eyes, he went home that night.
Edwin did not speak.
Jenna looked at her mother sitting to the side, who looked like she was hesitant to speak. Amelia shot
a look at her daughter, then looked at her husband. She used her eyes to tell her daughter that her
husband was furious.

Jenna sat next to her father and held his arm without even putting down her bag. She said like a
spoiled child, “Dad, you were on a business trip for too long. Mom and I missed you so much.
“You must be tired coming back from your trip. Why don’t you go to bed early? I’ll get up early tomorrow
morning and prepare breakfast for you.”
Edwin turned his head to glare at his daughter and asked seriously, “Where have you been all day
today?”
“I was busy at work. When you’re not at the company, I’m always busy as a bee every day. It’s so
tiring.”
“Ahem, ahem—”
Amelia coughed loudly to remind her daughter that it was a weekend.
Her daughter did not go to work.
Edwin looked at his wife.
Amelia quickly picked up the cup of warm water she had poured for her husband and took a sip,
saying, “I think I caught a cold. I’m coughing a little.”
“That glass of water you’re drinking is mine.”

Edwin asked her, “You paid for a man whose figure resembles Mr. York to accompany you, and you’re
using him as a substitute for Mr. York. I can understand that his figure looks very similar to Mr. York, but
how could you take intimate photos with him and send them to Mrs. York?
“Are you picking a fight? Trying to ruin the couple’s relationship? Jenna Daniels, I told you that Mr. York
has a wife. He’s been married for a year. Everyone knows that he’s married. You tried to flirt with him
