Chapter 2113

Liberty stopped her car at the entrance of the manor.

“Sonny, wake up. We’re at Aunt Seren’s house.”

Liberty turned her head to call her son.

The little boy went with the sandman after getting in the car and slept the entire journey.

He slept so soundly that not even his mother’s calls could wake him up.

Liberty got out of the car first.

“Liberty.”

Serenity’s smile was as bright as the sun. Zachary also came over to greet Liberty.

“It’s so hot out. Why are you two standing here waiting for me? Hurry inside. I’ll drive the car in.”

Zachary smiled and said, “Your sister started counting down the time when she heard that you were

coming. She thought you were almost here, so she insisted on coming out to wait.”

Liberty admonished her sister, “If you wanted to wait outside, why didn’t you at least bring an umbrella

for shade?”

“It’s fine. We sat at the security booth for a while. There’s air conditioning inside. When we saw that it

was almost time, we came out just in time to see your car.”

Serenity asked about her nephew. “Where’s Sonny?”

“He’s sleeping in the car. I couldn’t wake him.”

“Let him sleep. Liberty, you can park the car inside.”

Then, Serenity opened the passenger seat door and got in the car.

Zachary sat in the back and saw Sonny sleeping soundly on the seat. He wanted to pick Sonny up so

the boy could sleep in his arms, but unexpectedly, Sonny woke up as soon as Zachary touched him.

When the little boy opened his eyes and saw Zachary, he grinned and greeted softly, “Uncle Zack.”

“Oh, you’re awake. Do you still want to sleep? You can sleep some more. Your Uncle Zak will hold

you.”

Sonny leaned his head on Zachary’s chest and closed his eyes again.

His soft and cute appearance melted Zachary’s heart. He could not help but bow his head and kiss

Sonny’s little face.

It was no wonder the elders all gave Serenity and Zachary the stink eye when they saw the couple

come back without Sonny.novelbin

Serenity said to her husband in private, “I think if we don’t come back with Sonny next time, your

parents won’t let us into the manor anymore. Sonny is the entry ticket. If they don’t see Sonny, they’ll

give us the stink eye if we come back.”

Zachary did not know whether to laugh or cry.

It was not just his parents, but his aunts and uncles as well.

When they heard that the couple was coming back, they first asked about Sonny. Then, they simply

turned and left when they knew that the young couple returned without Sonny.

It was mainly because there had not been any little kids in the manor for a long time. The youngest,

Rowan, was already almost seventeen. Everyone could not help but be happy when they saw a child

as small as Sonny.

Sonny was cute, sweet, and able to make his many grandparents very happy.

Liberty got in the car as well. The security guard had already opened the gates and let her drive inside.

“Sonny is still asleep. Liberty, you can just park at the main door, so you don’t have to walk that far with

Sonny.”

The person who spoke was Zachary.

As soon as they entered the grounds, there was a large open-air parking lot. That was where everyone

usually parked their cars. If one was too lazy to walk that far, one could park at the main entrance of the

manor.

The manor was huge, and Liam and each of his brothers had their own buildings which were

independent but connected.

Each building had a small parking lot in its yard.
