The environment and the people were great.
Camryn and Callum were not married yet, but they were engaged. Therefore, she gradually changed
the way she addressed Martin and Rosella. Her in-laws treated her as if she was their own and were
never displeased that she was blind.
Her mother-in-law had proven through her actions that as the future second missus of the York family,
Camryn only had to spend money. She did not have to care about anything else.

Callum got up and walked over to hold Camryn’s hand.
Rosella wanted to say that she could accompany her daughter-in-law on the walk. Her son could just

back, she should belong to me for these two days.”
Callum immediately bent over and lifted Camryn. He walked out of the house in big strides with Camryn
in his arms.
Camryn kept saying, “Put me down, Callum. I can walk.”
“I can walk faster if I carry you. Let’s escape quickly. Otherwise, you’ll be snatched away by my mom. I

house. She told her husband, “Look at them being lovey-dovey. How blissful is that?”
“We have a happy life too.”
Rosella pinched Martin. She smiled and said, “Your sons avoid you. No one wants to watch TV with
you. Who knows what you’re thinking when you watch TV?”
“I’m thinking of you.”
“Ew. You’re still such a smooth-talker even though we’re already old enough to be grandparents. Your
ability to smooth-talk wasn’t passed to your son. If it weren’t for Mom worrying over this matter, we
wouldn’t even know when Callum will get married.”
At least Callum and Camryn were already engaged.
They could hold the wedding after Camryn’s eyes were treated. After that, Martin and Rosella could
wait for the arrival of a grandchild.
As for their two other sons, Martin and Rosella let Grandma May choose her granddaughters-in-law as
she pleased.
Grandma May was much more experienced. She had a good eye for people.
