deal with her. Mr. Daniels is an upstanding man.”
Serenity had a good impression of Edwin. She just had a bad impression of Jenna.
Jenna was Edwin’s only daughter. She was born only after Edwin took a lot of medicine to nourish his

Zachary was silent for a moment before saying, “Even if I don’t return to the company in a month, York
Corporation will operate as normal. Josh is much more relaxed than me now.”

He went to work normally every day and clocked out as soon as his shift was over. He would never
stay in the company even for an extra ten minutes, and he stopped going to social gatherings much.
He said there would be drinking and smoking when socializing, but he did not want to bring home the
smell of alcohol and tobacco back to his wife and child.
Zachary could not force him to socialize either.
Many times, it was Zachary who attended instead. However, he would not work until midnight every
day like how he did before marriage. He finished his work at nine and went home to accompany his
wife around half-past nine.
Serenity laughed. “It sounds like you’re jealous of how relaxed Mr. Bucham is.”
“It’s true that he’s more relaxed than me now. Can’t I be envious about that?”
Serenity laughed and reminded him, “York Corporation is a company belonging to your family. Mr.
Bucham is just working for you.”
Zachary was speechless.
“You should get back to work. I’ll tidy up the bookshelves and go visit Mr. Charles.”
Then, Serenity hung up the call.
