Chapter 1940

Kevin was much more cunning than Zachary.

Kevin’s car was parked horizontally at the entry of her villa.

Hayden’s motorcade was forced to stop. They could not proceed further.

When Hayden’s car appeared in Kevin’s sight, he got out of the car while holding a large bouquet of

roses.

It was different from the bouquet that morning. This time, he had someone make a money bouquet with

50- and 100-dollar bills.

That was because Hayden gave an order that no florist in Jensburg was allowed to sell roses to Kevin.

Kevin called Wildridge Manor to help, but there was no way they could send the flowers so quickly.

Since that was the case, he had to use a money bouquet instead.

Besides, he already bought out all the roses in the flower shops in the morning. His men cleared out

the flowers even from shops located in the suburbs.

They had not replenished their stock yet.

Kevin leaned against his car, holding the money bouquet in both hands and looked at Hayden’s car

with a smile.

He was dressed in a neatly pressed suit and tie. At that moment, he looked stylish and refined. Well,

the third young master of the York family had always been sophisticated after all.novelbin

Hayden would be attending a dinner banquet tonight. If the host was able to invite Hayden, it meant

that the event was naturally very important. The guests were either rich or noble.

With Kevin’s status, if he stayed in Jensburg, he would definitely get an invitation too.

However, he did not stay in Jensburg often.

The host organizing the banquet did not send him an invitation, but he personally asked for one after

knowing that Hayden would be there.

Therefore, he would be attending the banquet with his Hayden later.

“Oh, Mr. Kevin, why are you here?”

Hugh noticed Kevin, got out of his car, and greeted Kevin with a smile as he approached.

Hayden, who was in the car, was speechless.

What should she do? She was really tempted to beat up her little brother.

She had a hunch that her brother would sell her out sooner or later.

“I’m here waiting for Mr. Hayden. Since you’re here, Mr. Hugh, come help me look. Do I look handsome

like this?”

Kevin had a very good attitude toward his future brother-in-law.

He stood in front of his car, straightened up, and put on a smile, letting Hugh see if he was handsome.

Hugh laughed and praised, “You’re always handsome. I really fell in love with you at first sight. Did you

prepare this bouquet for me? It’s beautiful.”

Hugh reached out and tried to take the money bouquet from Kevin’s hand.

Kevin pushed away Hugh’s hand, slipping away from the latter like a loach in one fell swoop.

“I told you to save it, Mr. Hugh. You’re not my type. I like your brother. This bouquet is for him.”

Kevin walked to Hayden’s car with the bouquet.

“Mr. Hayden, I prepared a bouquet of flowers for you. Even your brother praised its beauty.”

Kevin presented the money bouquet at Hayden’s window like it was a treasure.

Hayden did not see that the bouquet was made up of banknotes. Her expression darkened. Which

flower shop went against her and sold flowers to Kevin?

She had given all those florists an additional sum of money.
