Chapter 1937

When Jane went over to see her son, Grandma May said, “Jane, your little girl is so well-behaved.

Such a good girl whether she’s awake or asleep.”

Jane picked up her wailing son and laughed when she heard Grandma May’s words. “How could she

cry when you’re holding her all day? She never had the tendency to cry.”

She dared to say that her daughter’s temperament definitely took after Ben’s.

In fact, Chloe’s might even be better than her dad’s.

Grandma May smiled. “Serenity and I will be going back to Wiltspoon soon. I don’t know when I’ll be

able to see Chloe again after this, so I have to hold her now until I get tired of it.”

With her old age, she would most likely not come to FC Manor again.

Unless Jane and Ben went to Wiltspoon with their two little darlings in the future, Grandma May would

have little chance of seeing the lovely children again.

“If I go to Wiltspoon in the future, I’ll bring the twins to visit you.”

Remy liked Elisa. When they got married, Jane and Ben would definitely go to Wiltspoon often. Jane

also got along well with Serenity and the others, and when the children got older, they would also

clamor for their parents to bring them along when they went out.

Jane felt that it was not difficult to take the children out to visit Grandma May. It was something even

she could do.

Grandma May grinned and said, “If you’re coming over with the children, call me in advance.”

She was afraid she would not be at home.

Jane nodded.

Serenity watched them with a smile, but deep down, she could not help but sigh again.

She saw how much Grandma May liked Chloe. She also wanted to get pregnant and have a daughter.

That way, Grandma May would not have to envy the Johnsons for having a granddaughter.

However, there was still no bun in the oven for her. She was not even pregnant, let alone have a

daughter.

Well, just let nature take its course.

Meanwhile, during an afternoon in Jensburg, Kevin did not appear in front of Hayden again, so she had

a quiet time of day.

Kevin and her names were still trending online, and many acquaintances called her secretary to verify

this matter.

However, as long as they did not call Hayden’s personal phone, it would not affect her. She simply

pretended not to know.

After a busy afternoon, evening came in a flash.

Hayden would be attending a dinner party tonight and asked Hugh to go with her.

She had been pestered twice by Kevin, so she guessed that many people would ask her to verify her

relationship with him at the party tonight.

She would bring Hugh so he could help her explain.

She hoped that Kevin would not appear at the party later.

Hayden looked at the time and decided to get off work early.

Every time she attended a banquet, she would eat at home before going out and only drank a glass or

two of wine at most while at the venue. In general, she would only drink and not eat, and the wine she

drank would be a vintage bottle she brought from home.

It was done for safety.

There might not be anyone who tried to poison her.

However, there were many women who wanted to drug her and try to spend the night with her.

Hayden did this mainly to guard against those admirers.

Everyone in Jensburg’s upper society knew her habits.

She would eat at home and bring her own wine from home to drink, so her admirers had no way ofnovelbin

making their move even if they wanted to.

Otherwise, with her identity, attractive face, and good temperament, she would have long been

exposed.

After putting down the pen, Hayden picked up her mobile phone on the table, got up, and walked

around the table to call her brother.

Hugh swiftly answered the phone, “Where are you?”

“I’ve been working since noon. I’m in the office, of course.”
