Chapter 1935

Julian thought that his old man had gone crazy. If he caught Julian looking at someone twice, he would

probe about the person, without any care for common sense.

The little girl naturally was sent back to her parents, and this matter was kept very well hidden. Very

few people in the outside world knew about it.

Elisa and others heard about it, but only from Jasmine.

So, Walter’s madness made Elisa’s scalp numb.

She was in her twenties and unmarried. If Walter knew that Julian gave her flowers and even went to

pick her up at the airport, he would probably come over tonight to propose marriage.

Elisa messaged Serenity, asking when she was coming back.

Serenity then called her.

“Elisa, you’re back from your business trip?”

“Just got back today. When are you and Grandma May coming back? And Sonny, I miss him so much,

is he with you? Get him on the phone.”

Elisa really adored Sonny.

Every time she heard Sonny’s cutesy voice calling her Aunt Elisa, she would melt into a puddle of

Serenity laughed, “He’s out playing, I’m inside. When he comes back, I’ll have him video call you. Did

you finish your business dealings?”

Originally, Serenity was going on a business trip to negotiate a deal, but she was persuaded by

Grandma May to go traveling together.

Coincidentally, Elisa was fed up with her mother’s matchmaking with Andrew, so she went alone to

negotiate the deal, using the excuse of a business trip to avoid the fuss and enjoy a few days of peace

and quiet.

“Who is Sonny playing with so happily? School is about to start, he should settle down and not cry

every day about not wanting to go to kindergarten,” Elisa joked.

Audrey said that Elisa was like that when she was still a child.

Because she played too much and did not want to go to kindergarten, she had to be dragged out of

bed every morning by her family. Even when she was out of bed, she would cry and refuse to go to

kindergarten.

Elisa had no recollection of it herself.

Her parents and two older brothers would occasionally bring it up and tease her.

She could imagine the scene in her mind.

“Jane’s adopted son Laurence is about the same age as Sonny. The two of them play all day and have

a great time.”

Elisa laughed. “It’s no wonder then. Sonny usually plays alone. It’s rare for him to have a companion of

the same age, of course he’s having fun. Regarding business, it’s settled. I even brought back a copy

of the signed contract. We have successfully gained a few more clients. Since we have expanded our

market, we won’t have to worry about sales anymore.

“How old are Jane’s two children? Are they cute?”

“They are already two months old. They are adorable. Nana could hardly refrain herself from adopting

Clo-clo.”

Elisa then laughingly said, “Grandma May went from hoping for a daughter to hoping for a

granddaughter, neither of them came true. Now, she’s hoping for a great-granddaughter. Seeing

Remy’s niece, I can imagine how much Grandma May likes Chloe.”

Elisa had also seen Jane’s twins when Remy took her back to FC Manor. The Johnsons now had

several little ones and all of them were very cute.

Every time his nieces and nephews were mentioned, Remy always had a smile on his face; it was

evident that he was someone who adored children.

“We‘ll be going back in a couple of days.”

Serenity said with a smile, “Let’s have a meal together and chat more when we get back.”

“Okay,” Elisa readily agreed.

“Are you driving now?” asked Serenity as she heard a honk.

“We are going out for a meal. Remy and I went back home and there was no food to eat, so we got

kicked out by my mom.”

Serenity smiled and said, “That’s perfect then, you two can go have a romantic meal together. I will not

disturb you guys anymore. Catch you later.”
