Chapter 1926

However, she was not familiar with him, and their paths rarely crossed.

Julian said that he was here to pick her up!

This astonished Elisa. She stood there, not knowing what to do.

“Ms. Stone, these flowers are for you.”

Remy brought a bouquet of flowers to receive Elisa, but so did Julian.

Julian kept getting pestered by Andrew and lost a bet to him, so he had no choice but to help Andrew

shake off Audrey.

He would pretend to have feelings for Elisa and make Remy stressed and nervous. Furthermore,

Audrey would not dare set him and Elisa up together the same way she tried for Andrew and Elisa.

After all, Audrey could not keep track of Julian. How would she subtly set up the two?

Audrey also did not dare to imagine Julian as her son-in-law. She knew very well that her daughter

would not get along with him.

Julian stuffed the bouquet into Elisa’s arms, and Elisa reflexively wrapped her arms around it.

She looked down at the bouquet in her arms, then up at Julian. She finally snapped out of her shock

and asked, “M-Mr. Bucham, w-what is the meaning of this?”

“There’s no meaning. I heard you were coming back to Wiltspoon today, so I came here to wait for you.

I’ll fetch you from the airport, give you a bouquet of flowers, help you carry your suitcase, take you back

to the city, send you home, and stay at your place for dinner.”

Julian laid it all out in one breath, making it clear what he was doing and what he was about to do.

Elisa was speechless.

“Elisa and Mr. Bucham.”

Remy walked over and immediately stopped at Elisa’s side. He took the bouquet from her arms, stuffed

his own bouquet at her, and then gave Julian back his bouquet. He also took Elisa’s suitcase from

Julian.

“There’s no need to trouble you, Mr. Bucham. I’ll take Elisa back. Thank you for coming.”

Remy also did not know what was going on, but he remained cultured and thanked Julian.

Julian did not stop Remy from doing all this and sized Remy up. Remy was an exceptional man, but

Audrey did not accept him as a son-in-law. Julian… had no words to describe the woman.

She should be happy that such an excellent man liked her daughter.

However, she disapproved of them being together simply because Remy was from a faraway city in

Annenburg and tried to set Elisa up with Andrew despite there being no spark between the latter pair.

What was the point?

There would be no happiness if they were forced together.

“Since you’re here too, then let’s go back together, Mr. Johnson.”

Julian did not simply leave nor go head-to-head with Remy. His goal was just to help out Andrew.

Speaking of which, why did he make a bet with Andrew?

Maybe it was because he was too idle recently.

After a few days of Andrew camping at his doorstep, somehow one way or another, they chatted and

ended up making a bet. Furthermore, Julian actually lost the bet, so he had no choice but to agree to

Andrew’s request.

Julian hoped that his father would not go to the Stone family to propose marriage because of his

abnormal behavior.

Julian did not speak, but Remy could not help but ask, “What are you doing, Mr. Bucham?”

“Nothing much. I’m too bored and wanted to find a girl to woo, and Elisa is the only girl I’ve found

pleasant, so I’ve decided to compete fairly with you.”

Remy was speechless.

His relationship with Elisa was already bumpy enough, but now Julian was jumping into the fray. Julian

was even more troublesome than Andrew.

“Let’s go, let’s go. We’ll chat as we walk.”

Julian did not like being stared at when standing in crowded places. He reached out and pulled themnovelbin

away. Of course, he would not pull Elisa.

He had no reaction to Elisa.

Yes, he was not lying. He had no reaction to women, but he did not like men either. He had a disease.

He had hypoactive sexual desire disorder.
