Chapter 1895

Hugh continued to ask, “Mr. Kevin, can you show me your wife candidate’s photo?”

“That won’t do. What if you fancy her? Wouldn’t I be inviting a love rival for myself?”

Hugh was speechless.

“Once I manage to pursue her, and marry her, I’ll definitely invite you to our wedding. You’ll find out

then who she is.”

When Kevin married Hayden, Hugh would become his brother-in-law, so Hugh would definitely be

present at the wedding.

Since Kevin said that, as thick-faced as Hugh was, he could not press Kevin to show him the photo.

Hugh could only say with a smile, “You must invite me to the wedding when you get married, Mr. Kevin.

If possible, I’d like to be your groomsman so I can take a piece of your luck. I hope I’ll be the next

person to get married so my parents will stop saying that I’m unwanted when they see me come home

by myself every day.”

Kevin grinned and neither promised nor refused him. He had to first find out if a brother-in-law could be

a groomsman.

If it was alright, he would reply to Hugh then.

After all, Hugh might be his future brother-in-law—his only brother-in-law—so he would show him face.

“I need to go to the toilet.”

Kevin drank too much water.

After he left, Hayden muttered, “He’s so cunning. He still hasn’t revealed which family his wife

candidate is from.”

Hugh was not bothered and ate the fruits. He said, “Who cares which family she’s from? It has nothing

to do with us.”

He pushed the snacks toward his sister and said, “Hurry up and have some while he’s gone. You

usually don’t dare to eat more while you’re out.”

Hayden said indifferently, “We made a reservation at the hotel and will be heading there soon. Why

should I snack? I haven’t been eating them and I’m not craving them either.”

She liked to have snacks, but after disguising herself as a man for a long time, she felt that it did not

matter whether she had snacks or not.

“I’m hungry. I didn’t get to have anything since you called me back.”

Hugh had another snack and took out his phone. When he opened his social media and saw the

photos posted by his friends, he showed them to his sister and said, “I was going to hang out with

them. Now, they’re having fun while I can only sit here in the sun.

“Of course, since I’m able to accompany my sister, I’ll stay in the sun if I have to.”novelbin

Hayden glared at him. “Don’t call me your sister when we’re outside!”

Hugh made a face at her and caused her to glare at him again.

They were of the same age, but Hugh was always like a child in front of Hayden. She was too capable

and was someone he could lean on. As long as she was around, he would be safe even if the sky were

to fall.

Not long after, Kevin returned.

The three of them went to the hotel at the ranch for a meal.

Kevin said it would be his treat, so Hayden specially asked the hotel to give him a discount.

After the meal, they had a short rest before Kevin pestered Hayden to go to the nearby hot spring with

him.

Hayden wanted to curse as she was annoyed by Kevin’s pestering. Was she impatient to reveal her

identity as a female to him? Why did she tell him about the hot spring?

If she had not deliberately asked Kevin that question, her parents might have secretly told him that she

was a woman and asked him to pursue her.

At last, they went to the hot spring.

Hayden was always on guard against Kevin. She felt that Kevin approached her on purpose and

suspected that he knew she was a woman.
