Chapter 1886

What was he doing at Queen Manor?

Thinking about how much her parents liked Kevin, Hayden could not stay in bed any longer. She was

afraid that if she did not go home, mealy-mouthed Kevin might charm her parents and make them

happy enough to sell her off.

Hayden knew her parents were now worried about her marriage.

She had been living as a man for over twenty years and had long grown accustomed to the life of a

man.

Marrying a wife was impossible for her; she was a woman after all.

Even if Hayden had a wife, she could not give her a real married life.

She did not want to get married either. She was not used to being a woman and she had never worn a

skirt her whole life.

Moreover, she had never met a man who could make her heart skip a beat and make her take off her

disguise.

Her parents also thought she was so outstanding that men could rarely match her.

They did not urge her although they were worried about her marriage.

If it were not for Kevin coming into her life, she would not even worry. She could live like this for the rest

of her life.

Kevin was the third son of the York family, and he was excellent in all aspects. In reality, she admired

Kevin’s abilities. Moreover, the York family had a good reputation. Even if the two families were a little

far apart, her parents might consider Kevin as a son-in-law.

“I thought you would go back to Queen Manor to visit your parents on weekends. That’s why I came

here directly. Mr. Hayden, Mrs. Queen asked you to come and have breakfast with us. Come early, and

we'll wait for you,” said Kevin before he hung up the phone.

Hayden looked a little pissed.

Kevin treated Hayden’s home as his own.

Although feeling reluctant, Hayden got out of bed at the speed of light. She needed some time to dress

up to look like a real man.

Half an hour later, surrounded by bodyguards, Hayden left her own villa where she usually lived and

headed to Queen Manor.

When she arrived at Queen Manor, she heard her parents laughing before she even entered the

mansion.

Without asking, one could tell that it was thanks to Kevin. This man was just too good at flattering

people.

Despite only meeting her parents once, Kevin was able to charm them to the point where they wanted

him to stay for dinner. They even had her send him back to his hotel.

“Kevin, our son Hay is usually too busy with work and has no time to go out and relax. If you have

some free time, please do hang out with him more often. Everyone needs to unwind and let loose once

in a while. It breaks our hearts seeing how hard he works.”

Hayden heard her mom asking him to take Hayden out.

Donald said, “Our eldest son is just a workaholic who has no close friends. He spends her weekendsnovelbin

sleeping at home and doesn’t even play games. We know that Hayden is too busy and tired, but as

parents, we can’t help but worry. We hope you can hang out with him and be a true friend.

“If anyone else gets close to Hay, he will suspect that they have ulterior motives and want to take

advantage of him. It’s just that Queen Enterprise is too well-known in Jensburg. With you, Kevin, we

don’t have to worry. We believe that you genuinely want to be friends with Hay.”

Hayden walked in with big strides.

If she did not go in, her parents might actually sell her off.

Seeing Hayden enter, they were tactful enough to not say anything further.

“Mr. Hayden,” greeted Kevin smilingly as he stood up when Hayden approached.

She looked at him deeply for a moment before responding coldly with a simple “hmm” and then greeted

her parents.

“Hay, Kevin has been waiting for you for an hour now.”

Sophia shifted her position to make room for her daughter to sit beside her.

“I told Kevin just now that he should come over on weekends so you guys can hang out. With him by

your side, you won’t be bored.”
