Chapter 1866

Hugh knew that Queen Enterprise and York Corporation would not be rivals. They would have some

conflict in the food and beverage sector at most.

Therefore, they would attend Zachary’s wedding.

“Old Mrs. York had chosen a few candidates for Kevin. I heard he disliked them a lot and put up a lot of

resistance. A target had been given to him at the start of the year, but he didn’t even pursue that lady.

After Callum got engaged, Kevin was scolded by his family and urged to get married soon. He only

escaped to Jensburg because he could not stand his family’s nagging.

“Since it’s far, his family can’t possibly come to Jensburg to urge him to get married.”

After that, Hugh added, “This must be why he bought a house in Jensburg. He plans to stay in

Jensburg long-term and uses it as an excuse to escape people nagging him about marriage.”

Hayden raised her head and looked at her brother. She asked, “Do you know whose daughter

Grandma May picked for Kevin? He’s opposing it so strongly.”

As far as she knew, Zachary was strongly opposed to marrying Serenity back then. However, the

couple ended up being lovey-dovey.

Feelings could be nurtured.

Of course, it would be better to break up if no feelings grew between two people. There was no need to

compromise on marriage. It would end up being miserable.

“I couldn’t find anything about that. Old Mrs. York would give her grandsons a photo after picking a

granddaughter-in-law for them. I heard the picture would contain the woman’s basic information, but it’s

kept a secret from outsiders. You must know what Old Mrs. York did when she was young. No one

could find out if she wanted to keep a secret.”

Hayden hummed in acknowledgment.

Then, she continued looking at her documents. She was not interested in finding out about Kevin’s

significant other.

It could be anyone except her anyway.

Hayden had only met Grandma May several times. They did not interact much, and the old lady did not

know she was actually a woman.

Moreover, she lived in Jensburg. It was quite a distance from Wiltspoon.

Judging from Zachary’s and Callum’s partners, the women that Grandma May picked were all from

Wiltspoon.

“Do you have anything else to say?” Hayden suddenly raised her head and asked her brother.

“No.”

“Why are you still sitting here then?”

Hugh said, “Can’t I even look at you? You’re so handsome. It’s no wonder people who had only met

you once would admire you. If I were a woman, I would also fall for a man like you.”

Hayden rolled her eyes at him. She said, “If you have someone you like, settle down and spend some

time with her. If she has a good character, you can marry her. Stop mingling with so many women. It’ll

make people misinterpret you as a flirt.”

“I have too many women who I like. I don’t even know who to choose.”

Hugh shrugged. He was in a dilemma, saying, “To not make the girls sad, and for the sake of fairness, novelbin

I’ll remain as I am. Our family has you supporting it anyway. It’ll be okay for me to be a flirt.”

“Hugh Queen!”

After being addressed sternly by his sister, Hugh immediately surrendered. He said, “Okay, okay. I’ll be

more serious, but I really don’t have a woman I like. I haven’t met the person who’s suitable for me.”

He admired many beautiful women, but it was only that. He did not fall in love with any of them.

It was mainly because the women he admired were mostly from the entertainment industry. His family

would not agree to him marrying a celebrity. To his parents and sister, the stars were merely actresses.

They did not have the right to join the Queen family as a young missus.

Hugh did not fancy any daughters from wealthy families in Jensburg. Those women did not like him

either. They thought he was a playboy who was close to many celebrities. They only had eyes for his

sister.

Hugh thought, ‘Will those wealthy families’ daughters jump off a building together on the day my sister

reveals herself as a woman?’

They were so blind. They did not like a real man like him but fancied his sister, who was a fake man.
