Chapter 1864

Hayden would be elegant and magnificent because she had already built a cold character.

Hugh took the elevator to the top floor.

After walking out of the elevator and spotting Hayden’s secretary, he whistled. When the secretary

turned to look at him, he smiled and greeted the secretary.

“Is my brother in the office?” Hugh asked the secretary.

The secretary said politely, “Mr. Hayden is in the office. Did you make a call to inform him beforehand,

Mr. Hugh?”

As they talked, the secretary had already gotten up from the desk and walked to Hugh. If Hugh were to

say that he did not inform Hayden beforehand, the secretary would block him outside the office and not

allow him to disturb Hayden from his work.

“I’m my brother’s biological brother. I can look for him whenever I want. Do I even need to make a call

beforehand?”

Hugh was pulled back by the secretary just after speaking.

“Mr. Hugh, if you didn’t call Mr. Hayden to tell him you’re coming beforehand, please don’t enter the

office now and disturb him from his work. You’ll have to bear the consequences if Mr. Hayden gets

angry.”

Hugh was speechless.

He waved the document in his hand and said to the secretary, “This is what my brother requested me

to investigate. I have the results with me now, and I brought them to let him have a look. Do I still need

to make a prior appointment?”

The secretary smiled nicely, “You should still call Mr. Hayden now and ask him if he has time to meet

you, Mr. Hugh.”

Hugh had no choice. His sister was so busy that her time was precious. Even he, her biological brother,

had to make a prior appointment. Otherwise, the secretary would stop him from entering.novelbin

He often followed his sister to the company in the past and was never stopped by the secretary. It was

his first time being blocked.

Hugh glared at the secretary. In the end, he obediently took his phone out and called his sister.

When his sister picked up, he asked her, “Hayden, I’m already outside your office. Do you have time to

meet me? I’ve already found the information you need and brought it to you as a document.”

Hayden replied to him, “Come on in.”

She then hung up.

“My brother told me to go in.”

The secretary gestured for him to enter and even helped him to knock on the CEO’s office door.

After Hugh entered, he complained to his sister, “Bro, your secretary is too businesslike. I’m considered

a higher-up in Queen Enterprise, but the secretary still blocked me from meeting you.”

Hayden did not even raise her head. She said, “So you still remember being part of Queen Enterprise?

Who works like you? For someone with no perseverance like you, I think the company won’t even last

for half a year if I hand it over to you.”

Hugh laughed. “You’re here anyway. Mom and Dad are already treating you as their successor. Many

employees also think of you as Queen Enterprise’s future leader.”

Hugh was relaxed as there was someone else holding the fort.

He could step in if his sister stopped managing the company, but he still wanted to have fun for a few

more years.

Although Hugh was not as charismatic as Hayden, he was not lacking either. He was just more playful.

He did help to manage the business, but he would be fooling around and be celebrities’ fanboy most of

the time.

His sister would be there if anything were to happen anyway. What was there to be afraid of?

Even if his sister returned to being a woman and married, she could still manage Queen Enterprise. It

would be fine if she did not move to a faraway place after marriage.

Hugh used to have only one requirement of his future brother-in-law, and that was he had to be

capable. If so, his brother-in-law would be able to share the burden of managing Queen Enterprise with

his sister. That way, he would also be able to continue being a happy fanboy.
