Josh nodded quickly. He said, “I won’t talk about love letters or compare myself to Zachary anymore.
I’m much happier than he is.”
He caressed Jasmine’s small abdomen, which was still flat. Zachary had not become a father even
though he had been married for a long time. On the other hand, Josh was already becoming a father,
and his relationship with Jasmine had always been smooth sailing. They were in a better situation than

Jasmine placed her hand on top of the back of Josh’s and took his hand off. She said, “Don’t talk to
Zachary about this.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“I know what you’re going to say when you do that. Seren doesn’t say anything, but she’s still worried
that she’s infertile. I often see her searching about infertility on the internet.”
Josh hummed in agreement. “I won’t say anything. You should advise Serenity not to be hasty.
Sometimes things won’t go how we want them to if too much stress is involved.”
“I know. I don’t even dare to talk about children in front of her.” Jasmine sighed. She said, “They’re such
a loving couple. Why are they unable to conceive?”
She and Josh had gotten pregnant during their honeymoon.
“They’ll have a child. Don’t overthink. Let’s sleep.”
Josh consoled his wife and dimmed the bedside lights. He turned to his side and hugged his wife to
sleep.
As Jasmine was pregnant, she fell asleep swiftly. She was sleeping soundly within a few minutes.
As he watched his wife off to slumberland so quickly, Josh’s heart softened. He approached her
forehead and gave her a light peck. He said softly and enviously, “Dear, I’m so jealous that you can
sleep within minutes.”
He always had to toss and turn before the sandman took him away.
Meanwhile, at Daniels family residence, Jenna had just exited the bathroom when she heard her phone
ring. There was a new message.
Her phone was placed on the bed. She walked quickly toward it and sat on the bedside. Then, she
started looking at the message.
It was an unknown number who sent her the message.
The message wrote: [Serenity has gone on a trip. Zachary is alone at home.]
After reading it, Jenna immediately dialed the number. Someone picked up the call.
“May I know who’s this?” Jenna asked softly.
After a moment of silence, the person said, “It’s me. I’m the one who brought you into Regent
Residences.”
It was the owner of Unit 188 of Regent Residences. Before Serenity went on the trip, she brought the
evidence Sam handed to her and went to talk to the owner.
The house owner was a young woman in her thirties who was divorced and without children. The villa
she lived in was divided to her by her ex-husband. When Serenity went to her house, she was
confronted about the pictures she had secretly taken.
The house owner denied it at first. However, she had no choice but to admit it after Serenity showed
the evidence. After that, she mentioned that she was an entertainment journalist. She would take
pictures of Zachary and Serenity whenever possible because the public loved seeing scandals about
them.
