“Let me talk to Julian now.”
Knowing that Zachary was busy, Andrew stood up and planned to take his leave after pouring out his
problems.
“Why are you so desperate? Julian might not be at home. You should ask Josh before heading to the
Buchams’ place so you won’t go there for nothing.”
At the thought of how mysterious Julian was, Andrew hummed in acknowledgment.
He said, “I have no choice but to be desperate because I’m extremely worried that Mrs. Stone will
matchmake me with Elisa. She can scheme against someone without a trace. Only after getting into
her trap will one come to their senses. By then, it’ll be difficult to get out of the trap.”
Zachary laughed. “If Aunt Audrey plots against you, it means you’re outstanding. Everyone in
Wiltspoon knows that she loves Elisa very much. She’s only interested in outstanding men.”
“Zack, are you praising me or gloating at my misfortune?”
“Both.”
Andrew’s face darkened before he said, “Let me ask Josh. Because of Mrs. Stone’s doing, I haven’t
been able to focus on my work lately. I’ll have Clive make it up to me. I have a project recently, and I
plan to get Clive to take over it so I can earn some money from him.”
“Do count me in if you have any great projects. I promise I’ll invest heavily in them and work with you.

Andrew grinned and headed outside.
Zachary leaped to his feet not to walk Andrew out. Instead, he paced around his office. In the end, he
walked to the window and gazed at the blue sky and white clouds. He took out his phone to call
Serenity.

Serenity laughed and said, “No. I’m answering your call in my dream.”
Zachary laughed as well.
“Have you eaten?”
Zachary said concernedly, “You must drink the chicken soup to nourish yourself.”
“I did. Babe, did someone plot against me last night? I don’t remember what happened after I got
drunk. When I woke up, I felt my waist aching. I had a dream the entire night yesterday. I dreamed that
we slept together.”
Zachary’s eyes were beaming. “I thought you couldn’t remember anything. Babe, I saved you. You
should thank me.”
Serenity replied, “I wonder which b*stard schemed against me!”
It had been a long time since she last told someone off. If she found out who was behind it, she
promised to beat that person up and give him a taste of his own medicine.
Zachary’s smile disappeared, then he said, “I told Josh to investigate the matter, and he found out the
truth soon. It was an old pervert who wanted to conspire against his subordinate. He asked the server
to serve the drink to the subordinate. It turned out that you got the two glasses of wine instead. Just so
