Since Serenity was in a good mood, Zachary cautiously asked, "
Honey, did something happen before I came back?"
Serenity looked at him and inquired, "What makes you think so?"
"You would always come out of the house when my car rolled into the driveway.You would stand in
front of my car and smile as I got out.If you’re back later than me, Sam will greet me outside, but you
and Sam weren’t there tonight.
"It's not a coincidence.Something must have happened before 1 was back, and it might affect our
relationship.Are you possibly mad at me?"
Zachary asked in a tender voice, "Tell me, Seren.What did I do wrong?"
It never occurred to Serenity that Zachary would assume something was wrong because she did not go
out to greet him.
With Zachary walking on eggshells and afraid to offend her, Serenity was amused and felt bad.
She felt as though she was not nice enough for him to feel insecure.
He was worried about angering her and that she would leave him in a fit of rage.
Serenity put down the clothes and cupped his face before giving him a kiss on the lips.She said, "It’s
not your fault.You didn’t do anything wrong.I am not angry.I was lost in my thoughts when you came
back.That was why I didn’t head out to meet you."
She nestled up against Zachary while wrapping her arms around his waist.
"You’re my man, Zachary.You’re mine and only mine.I won’t share your love with anyone.I won’t let that
happen.
"My man is mine to keep.The man that I polish is mine to relish.
"your admirer, Ms.Daniels was here again.She wanted to ask me out for a chat.It was late, and I knew
you were coming home soon, so I turned her down.I said to get a rain check."
Zachary was grimacing at the mention of Jenna.
"Don’t get mad."
Serenity knew Zachary well.She broke free from his embrace and picked her head up to look at him
while tenderly stroking his handsome face.
They lived in a generation where it was all about looks.
It was normal for Jenna to fall in love with Zachary at first sight.
"You’re an excellent man.It’s no surprise that people fancy you.I'm not afraid of the rival every now and
then because I trust your love for me will never change.I will take down the competition as they come.I
won’t hand you over to anybody.No one can have your love but me.
"Babe, Ms.Daniels’s feelings for you will ruin her.It’s hard to get a stubborn woman like her to move on
from you.Mr.Daniels might be able to keep her in check for a while, but he can’t do it forever.
"Leave this to me.I need the experience to handle my rival.I’m sure there will be more of her popping

Zachary said, "You have me though."
Serenity smiled.
"You don’t have to do anything but carry on flaunting our love and spoiling me.That’s the biggest
support you can give me.My happiness and your devotion can defeat these courters and make them
quit.
"If they refuse to give up and cause trouble for us, we should collect evidence and do the rightnovelbin
thing.Homewreckers should be punished."
Speaking of which, Serenity thought of Jessica and said, "You knew about Hank and Jessica a lot
earlier than I did Jessica said something right."
