Chapter 1770

Chapter 1770

Everyone knew Camryn could not see and relied on her hearing and memory to differentiate people.

They kept quiet when Callum introduced her to them and only spoke during their turn.

It made it easier for Camryn to remember who the voice belonged to.

Camryn was touched by the York family’s attentiveness again.

Callum did not lie to her.

His family was great.

Whether the elders or youngsters, they did not shun her or think she was not good enough for Callum.

She was the one who had been overly inferior.

She did not dare to accept Callum’s feelings.

After much delay, she finally took a courageous first step.

If Aunt Evelyn had not visited FC Manor in Annenburg and found out that Callum had gone there to

seek the genius doctor for her, she might not have been able to gather the courage to take a step

forward.

Grandma May was the eldest in the York family and the gentlest.

She did not have the arrogance of an elder at all.

Rosella was Callum's mother, and she was deeply concerned about Camryn.

Camryn could sense whether those people were truly good to her or simply pretending.

They were sincere.

Her blindness did not mean anything to them.

As Rosella told Aunt Evelyn, the York family would not dislike Camryn as long as she could spend

money.

After Camryn went to Wildridge Manor with Callum, met his parents, and confirmed that they were

dating, their relationship progressed swiftly.

Aunt Evelyn, Dalton, and Trenton represented her family and met the York family’s elders to discuss a

wedding date.

Speaking of Trenton, he found it difficult to accept that his parents were murderers.

After discovering the truth, he stayed at his classmate’s place and refused to meet Camryn.

Truth be told, he did not resent Camryn; he was simply too embarrassed to meet her.

His parents had caused the death of her biological father.

They even hogged the assets his uncle had left behind for Camryn.

They mistreated her and almost killed her.

Trenton felt guilty.

Trenton heard that Camryn had started dating Callum, met his parents, and that the elders of the two

families were going to discuss their wedding.novelbin

He thought that even though he was not Camryn’s elder, he was her only brother.

He could not ignore his sister’s marriage.

1 Therefore, he showed himself when Aunt Evelyn flew to Wiltspoon again.

He insisted on following her and Dalton to meet the Yorks.

As Camryn’s eyes had not received treatment yet, Callum thought of getting engaged first.

The wedding would be set before or after February in the next year.

He hoped she could see the grand wedding he had specially prepared for her.

Besides, Zachary and Serenity’s wedding was not held yet.

Callum was not in a rush either.

He was more concerned about whether Camryn’s eyes could be healed.

Since Callum wanted to get engaged, that was what they did.

Grandma May chose a fine day and helped organize an engagement ceremony for Callum and

Camryn.

Camryn had officially become his fiancée.

After attending Callum’s engagement party, Zachary flew to Annenburg with his beloved wife.

They attended the sip-and-see shower for Ben and Jane’s twins.

Upon returning from Annenburg, they threw themselves into work, and their lives returned to normal.

Back at the hospital, Duncan sat on the wheelchair while Liberty pushed it.

She was bringing him downstairs to go on a stroll and relax.

With Liberty having looked after Duncan for some time, his leg injury had gotten a lot better.

The doctor said he could be discharged the next week and physiotherapy could begin after a week of

recuperation.

"You guys don’t have to follow us,"

Duncan instructed his bodyguards after he was pushed out of the ward.

"Okay."

Even if Duncan had not given them instructions, they usually would not follow when Liberty was

around.

They did not want to be third-wheelers.
