Chapter 1756

Chapter 1756

Camryn thought that Aunt Evelyn would take a rest instead of helping out since she just arrived.

Nonetheless, Aunt Evelyn felt the need to keep herself occupied.

She would not treat herself as a guest here, so Camryn let her help Dalton out.

Aunt Evelyn asked about Dalton’s marriage in the kitchen.

Once she learned that Dalton had gotten engaged, Aunt Evelyn was pleased and reminded him to

invite her to his wedding.

Dalton planned on inviting Aunt Evelyn to be the witness during their wedding ceremony.

Camryn sat on the couch, listening to their conversation.

Her mind had wandered over Callum.

Callum had done so much for Camryn, yet he did not tell her.

1 Was he planning to surprise her? Was it because if he let Camryn know that Dr.

Carden could not make it now, he was worried that Camryn would think about it all the time and have

high hopes? She would be extremely disappointed if the hope was gone.

It could be both reasons.

She recalled the time she met Callum until now.

In the beginning, Callum deliberately approached Camryn because Grandma May picked Camryn for

him.

The old lady wanted him to approach Camryn, pursue her, and marry her.

Camryn could not get her head around why Grandma May would choose her.

However, the old lady had been very kind to Camryn as if Camryn was her granddaughter while Callum

was adopted.

Later, Camryn could sense that Callum treated her sincerely and their relationship got closer.

Although they had known each other for a long time, she still had no idea what he looked like.

Even so, she could feel his affection for her.

Camryn took it to heart when Aunt Evelyn advised her.

Similar to Camryn, Aunt Evelyn initially objected to Camryn’s relationship with Callum.

Now, Aunt Evelyn advised her to accept Callum’s love instead.

Aunt Evelyn was an elder and had experienced more of what life could offer.

She was also a good judge of character.novelbin

Since Carmyn could not see anyone and all she could see was darkness, she had no choice but to

judge a person with her heart.

Camryn believed that Aunt Evelyn would not trick her, nor was Aunt Evelyn bribed by Callum.

Callum had only met Aunt Evelyn once.

After Aunt Evelyn disapproved of them getting together, she did not meet Callum the second time.

Every time Aunt Evelyn came to Wiltspoon, Callum would be the first one to rush over to meet her.

Callum perceived Aunt Evelyn as his elder and held her in high regard.

He treated Aunt Evelyn the same way he treated Camryn.

Camryn was torn.

When Callum was away on a business trip, or rather, he flew to Annenburg for Camryn’s sake, she

missed being pestered by him.

Camryn knew that Callum had a special place in her heart.

Nevertheless, at the thought that she was blind, she got cold feet.

She feared that she would ultimately be a drag on him.

Loving him was difficult, and so was getting over him.

Indeed, she was in a difficult position.

Serenity and Jasmine had encouraged Camryn to go for Callum boldly and take the risk.

However, Camryn was timid.

She was afraid that she would be a sore loser.
