Chapter 1751

Chapter 1751

Dalton and Camryn were at Seaview Villa, the place where they would always choose to talk about

business.

As for the workers in the villa, Dalton was the one who chose them for Camryn.

Although Camryn was now the head of the Newmans, her butler and servants were employed by Mrs.

Newman.

Given that they had been working for Mrs. Newman for years, they would be biased toward her.

Camryn had thought about firing those servants and employing new ones.

However, her eyes had not fully recovered.

If she had done that, she would not be familiar with the newly-employed servants, which was less

secure.

Currently, those servants were courteous toward Camryn on the surface.

In fact, they were biased toward her brother, Trenton.

The butler, in particular, seemed to be on a mission to look after the house for Mr. and Mrs. Newman so

that Trenton could successfully take over it.

When Camryn was having a meeting with the top management in the study, Dalton was sitting beside

her and assisting her.

Despite being blind, she had an excellent memory.

She remembered all the major and minor issues that her secretary and Dalton had told her.

Dalton was the one who hired the secretary for Camryn.

The secretary was not the one who worked for her stepfather.

Camryn had fired her stepfather’s secretary, who was interested in him.

Nevertheless, Dalton said that it was the secretary’s wishful thinking.

Mr. Newman had no intention of having an affair.

He remained faithful to Mrs. Newman.

After the meeting ended, Dalton noticed that her glass was empty.

He rose to his feet and took her glass to pour some warm water into it.

“You're tired, aren't you?” Dalton said sympathetically, “Trenton has graduated from high school.

You can guide him so that he understands the businesses under Newman Enterprise.

That way, you won’t exhaust yourself.” What was worse, no one was empathetic toward her.

Everyone assumed that she was trying to occupy the Newmans’ property.

Dalton knew that Camryn would not be so heartless even though she kept saying that she wanted to

snatch everything back.

In fact, her brother deserved the property, and she would still share it with him.

Mr. and Mrs. Newman hurt Camryn’s father because of family property and relationship issues.

Besides making the couple receive legal punishment, Camryn wanted to take over Newman Enterprise

as a way of taking revenge against them.

If the couple learned that Camryn was in control of all the businesses under Newman Enterprise, theynovelbin

must be boiling with anger in jail.

At the mention of her brother, Camryn said with a guilty look, “ After Trenton found out everything, he

started staying in his classmate’s house and refused to meet us.

I tried to meet him numerous times, but it was futile.

“Among my family members, I feel sorry for Trenton the most.

He’s understanding, but his parents aren't.

He can’t accept the fact that his parents and I had a falling out.

I can understand that, and I won’t blame him.” Dalton comforted her, saying, “Give him some time.

He’ll come to terms with reality.” Camryn sighed.

There was nothing she could do except wait.

It was probably when Trenton grew older and more mature that the two of them could make peace.

If Trenton hated her forever, she would resign herself to it.

“Pll go with you to talk to Trenton, alright?” Camryn shook her head as a sign of refusal and said,

“Trenton is holding a grudge against you too.

He believes that you betrayed his father.

If you meet him, you might make him angrier and distress him further.

Let him calm down first.” Camryn and Trenton were siblings for life.

Camryn believed that her brother, who had been understanding since he was young, would get over it.

Ring, ring...

1 Camryn’s phone rang.

Under the impression that Callum was the one calling, Dalton said to her, “Mr. Callum is still in hot

pursuit of you.

Every time he sees me, he guards against me as if I’m a thief.”
