Chapter 1715

Chapter 1715

Meanwhile, Elisa and Serenity took their own cars and drove into the Stones’ residence.

Remy, who had been keeping an eye out from next door, immediately drew close the moment the girls

pulled up at the driveway.

He arrived with a bouquet of beautiful roses and a set of jewelry.

Elisa got out of the car and took notice of a familiar car parked not too far away.

While the vehicle looked familiar, Elisa could not put her finger on the owner of the car.

She cocked her head to ask the maid who opened the gates for her, only to find Remy approaching

with flowers and a red bag of stuff.

Elisa chuckled.

Elisa went up to Remy.

The Stone family’s maid was about to close the gates.

Mr. and Mrs. Stone had informed in advance to close the gates before Ms. Elisa saw Mr. Remy.

Mr. Remy was not allowed in the residence.

However, now that Ms. Elisa saw him, there was no point in closing the gates now.

“you're here, Remy.” Since Remy got back from Annenburg, the pair only had one dinner together.

Remy was swamped with work lately, and Elisa was sensible enough not to come in between his work.

Besides, she and Serenity had a lot on their plate too.

There was no time to dwell on the mushy stuff when engaging in careers.

“T just got here.” Remy drew close to Elisa and handed the beautiful roses to her before uttering, “I

drove past a flower shop when I was leaving the corporate office.

The roses were stunning there, so I bought you a bouquet.” “So you weren’t going to get me flowers if

they weren’t beautiful?” Elisa took the flowers and poked fun at him.

Remy grinned.

“No.

I will always give you flowers when I’m in Wiltspoon.

Even if I’m not around, I will call the florist and have flowers delivered to you.” That was what he did

when he was in Annenburg for a while.

Even though he was not in Wiltspoon, the courtship did not end.

Remy then gave Elisa a set of jewelry and uttered, “My sister -in- law has a jewelry shop in

Meadspring.

This is the latest design that isn’t on the market yet.

I got a set from my sister-in-law for you.” Elisa took the jewelry pieces.

“Doesn't your sister-in-law have a newborn at home? How does she make the time to run her jewelry

business?” As far as she knew, Jane was living permanently in Annenburg.

She left her business in Meadspring in the hands of her twin brother.

“Mrs. Lafayette brought it over.

Mr. Felix Lafayette wanted to take his wife on a trip around the world, but their son, Laurent, was on a

honeymoon with his wife.

Since nobody was taking care of the family business, Mr. Lafayette had to wait until my sister-in-law

had given birth before taking the trip.” Felix was not too pleased as it had been six months since

Laurent and his wife went on their honeymoon.

' Laurent mentioned that he wanted to make use of the time since he would be coming back to take

over the family business.

When was he ever going to find another time to be with his wife if not now? | His father was about to

retire and go on a round-the-world trip with his wife.

Laurent did not see a problem in his father postponing the trip a little longer.

Laurent and Suzy were newlyweds, so the timing mattered more to them.

“Oh,” Elisa responded.

Jane had a jewelry shop in Meadspring, and Mrs. Lafayette was the lead jewelry designer.

It was said that Mrs. Lafayette majored in jewelry design, but Felix took a fancy to her from the start

and married her.

Mrs. Lafayette’s only job then was to be the lady of the house.

Apparently, she later went insane for more than two decades.

Thank God Jane reunited with her biological family, and Mrs. Lafayette became sound in mind again.

Mrs. Lafayette took the role of the lead designer when Jane invested in a jewelry shop.

In other words, the mother and daughter were in a partnership.

Felix, the head of the Lafayette household, was a bit of a chauvinist and disapproved of his wifenovelbin

working.

Nevertheless, now that the couple finally got back together, Felix did not want to stop his wife from

making it out on her own.

The last thing he wanted was for his wife to throw the divorce papers at him.
