Chapter 196

"Danny, how much help did the Yates need?" Angeline asked.

"It is estimated that we need to help Yates survive at least until the end of the year,” Danny answered seriously, “but the current situation is not just the Yates’ problem, now we have to see Mr. Juan's situation in hospital. — As long as Mr. Juan is safe, we still have the possibility of reconciliation, otherwise everything will be in vain.”

“We have been together for so many years, and I have been in Oceanford for so long. Mr. Yates had done me too many favors. If it wasn’t for Mr. Yates' help, I wouldn't be where I am today. Never mind. From the time Mr. Juan has been in the hospital, I'll have to visit the Yates family and get ready to help them this time.” -Angeline was not only grateful for what the Yates family had done for her, but more important was that Mr. Juan had always been her most beloved. With a heavy heart, she said goodbye to uncle Nate and left the Hillocks.

That day, Angeline had asked Sean for a brief leave from the crew, she went to Oceanford to visit Henry.

Henry had been unconscious for more than a month.

Seeing seeing Henry expressionless face on the hospital bed, Angeline silently sighed in her heart. When the nurse was giving him a routine check, she deliberately turned around and wiped away the tears in the corner of her eyes. She calmed herself down and asked Henry's attending doctor about Henry's status. After leaving the hospital, she went to see Mr. Yates.

As the sun set, Ned cooked for Angeline and the two sat together.

"Mr. Yates, long time no see." Angeline smiled happily, "I haven't seen you for such a long time, and I already miss your dishes."

The reverted “sankawa pastorate” sinoldt for Juan’s family inherited cultural heritages, made Mr. Ned fell into endless thoughts, “Angeline, you and godfather have known each other for more than ten years?”

“Yes, uncle Ned has always been very kind to me.” Angeline said with a smile in her heart.

After dinner, Angeline went back to the room where she used to live in the Yates house in the past.

These days, she had been thinking about a question for quite some time. Angeline herself was not sure if she could continue with the decision she had thought of according to her own thoughts, or if she could persevere until the justice resurfaced.

Just then, Ned walked in, smiled at her and said, "Angeline, it's rare for you to come back one more day, be sure to listen to my nagging for a while."

Angeline hurriedly got up and gave Ned a seat.

"Ned, haven't you fallen asleep?" she asked.

"Sleep? I see you didn't move into my house to sleep at all. So, you can still cry out to wake up?"

"Ned, the tribe's affairs turned out to be the nightmare that has been going on and on and now still with me. Captain Sean and Hase with them constantly targeting the Yates added up to all." Angeline turned as if she had decided what.

"No need, Angeline, don't just talk about them. Let's talk about the good things first. Sean's achievements recently are not important. The main thing is you, your godfather was very optimistic about you in the past. Your marriage and children will be here sooner or later as well." - Ned said.

As a child, she had always thought of Henry as her godfather. When Henry was at his best, he became an actual guardian in her life.

These years, after the Yates family received assistance from different factions and kept making compromises, Henry had always maintained "Red Vast leagues".

When he was at his worst, Robert, the chief of Valencia, had personally sent someone to invite Henry to seek help. That winter, Henry managed to get through with the help of devoted friends like cousin Nettle among others and he got through the challenge.

Life has always been a matter of choices. What Angeline was more afraid of was, having to face Henry’s fate, every time she thought of the days that could be the outcome of all this.

And now, the Henry in bed had not survived the calamity, would it all have to come to an end?novelbin

Someone knocked on the door, disturbing Angeline’s thoughts.

Before Angeline could react, I heard aunt Nancy walk up to the door and asked loudly as she opened the door, “Good evening to you, Sean.”

The footsteps approaching were light enough not to disturb anyone. Angeline opened the door and walked out.

"Angeline, could I talk to you?" Sean exclaimed. "Sure." Angeline replied immediately, she closed the door.

After giving them both a soft squeeze, Sean took her hand and left here from there without warning.
