Chapter 612

However, now the term sounded harsh in his ears and hurt him deeply.

What he didn’t know was that in the past three years, every time Sabrina called him that, her heartached.

“No,” Tyrone answered, his voice heavy.

Sabrina taunted, “So if you’re not here for business, you must be going on a holiday. I didn’t expect thatyou would have time to travel after becoming the chairman of Blakely Group.”

Tyrone didn’t want to engage in small talk or argue, so he got to the point, his expression serious. “Icame for you.”

“For me?” Sabrina’s expression froze momentarily. His words caught her off guard. “Why would youwant to see me?”

“Sabrina, are you in a relationship with Bradley?”

“Why do you ask?”

“Yes or no?”

Sabrina avoided giving him a direct response, and Tyrone could sense her evasion. To him, her silencespoke volumes and confirmed his suspicions. He clenched his fists, feeling wounded withdisappointment.

“I don’t owe you an answer. Remember, we’re divorced.”

Sabrina’s resolute expression left him feeling a profound emptiness that gripped his heart. In this veryinstant, he understood that if he were to claim concern for her solely as a brother, his words wouldnovelbin

come across as weak and pointless.

An urgency grew within him. He knew he had to find a way to convey his feelings for her before it wastoo late. “Sabrina, I never wanted the divorce. You know that.”

Having anticipated Sabrina’s response, Tyrone had rehearsed his words a hundred times in his mind. With genuine sincerity, he asked, “Sabrina, could we find a place to talk?”

Sabrina glanced coldly at Tyrone, her face betraying a sense of mockery, and said, “Grandpa’s gone, and we’re divorced. There’s no need for you to play any games with me now.”

A flash of pain crossed Tyrone’s eyes. He hadn’t anticipated that Sabrina would think this way.

The realization that she didn’t trust him at all stung him deeply.

“I made a mistake, Sabrina. I shouldn’t have divorced you. Like you said, grandpa’s no longer with us,and I don’t have to pretend to Love you. Whether you believe it or not, I truly love you. I don’t want todivorce you.”

He had declared his love for her before. When she questioned when he had fallen in love with her, hewas left without an answer.

But even if his words were true, why should she reconcile with him?

Should he be forgiven for all the pain she endured in the past?

With a chill in her voice, Sabrina retorted, “Regrets don’t have a cure, Tyrone. Your reasons don’tmatter to me. What I know is that I don’t want to remarry you.”

She wondered why Tyrone could abandon Galilea and play this charade.

Did he need her for something? Did his grandfather’s will state that he couldn’t divorce her if he wantedto be the chairman?
