Chapter 421

Chapter: 421

She had no intention of intruding into his private affairs. If he wanted to meet Galilea, he was free to doso.

“I assumed you were calling to ask me to join you for dinner at home.”

Sabrina was left speechless.

Waiting for him to come home for dinner was a thing of the past.

She was no longer concerned about whether he ate dinner.

Tyrone changed the subject. “Why did you blacklist Lee?”

Sabrina’s expression hardened. “We had a bit of a disagreement.”

“I’d like to know the truth.” Tyrone’s tone was firm.

“I simply didn’t think it was a major issue.” Sabrina shrugged nonchalantly.

“If it were minor, you wouldn’t have blacklisted a client. That’s not how you typically conduct business.”novelbin

Sabrina remained silent, her gaze falling to the floor, expressing no intention to elaborate.

She felt it unnecessary to disclose the details, not because she was unemotional about it, but becauseshe didn’t think he’d intervene on her behalf. In fact, she feared it would only create awkwardness.

Seeing this, Tyrone relented, “If you choose not to tell me, I won’t pry further. You can return to yourwork now. And, avoid logging into social media platforms for a while.”

“Alright.”

Sabrina nodded, turned, and began to leave. As she approached the door, Tyrone called her back.“One more thing, I’ve identified the person behind the news. It’s Evelyn. How do you want to handlethis?”

Had it not been for this predicament, Evelyn’s future within the branch company would’ve beenundeniably prosperous.

However, Tyrone now held no intentions of retaining Evelyn within Blakely Group.

Sabrina responded without much surprise, “She’s your employee. You make the call.”

Her suspicion about Evelyn had been lingering since the start.

ALL Galilea could do was propagate rumors, not defame directly. Sabrina could do nothing about it.

Galilea dared not push her boundaries too far, for fear that Tyrone might expose the truth, jeopardizingher career

Evelyn, on the other hand, had lesser inhibitions, her fondness for Tyrone acting as a magnet forattention.

Tyrone steadily advanced towards Sabrina, halting when he was right before her. He raised his hand tolightly touch her temple hair, whispering, “I’m sorry.”

His remorse about the Evelyn situation was overdue.
