Seeing that Eddie still wanted to say something, Sabrina interrupted him immediately, “I don’t want towaste time with you.”

Eddie sneered, “You’ve run out of excuses, haven’t you?”

Sabrina snorted coldly and left. Tyrone was so smart. How could he have a friend as stupid as Eddie?

Sabrina had seen Tyrone and Galilea in an intimate demeanor. Tyrone had admitted that Galilea wasthe one he liked all the time. How could it be wrong? But what about Eddie’s statement about Tyronenot reconciling with Galilea? What was going on? Eddie didn’t seem to be lying.

When Sabrina couldn’t make head or tails of it, she pushed the matter out of her mind. She shook herhead and tried to concentrate on something else. Whatever happened to Tyrone was no longer any ofher business.

At noon on Monday, Blayze invited Sabrina to lunch.

The last time they met, they didn’t have time to talk with each other. This time, they could take theirtime.

Sabrina shared details about her new life here. She mentioned when she first arrived here, she felt outof place and intrigued, but now it was becoming more comfortable for her. Every now and then, shewould stumble upon something new.

Blayze also shared his experience from his time here.

The two of them chatted happily.novelbin

Out of nowhere, Blayze queried, “Are you aware that Tyrone has been detained?”

The sudden change in conversation was a surprise to Sabrina. While she already knew about whathappened to Tyrone, she didn’t expect Blayze to bring it up. She cleared her throat and nodded. “Iknow.”

“What do you think about it?” Blayze raised his head to look at Sabrina.

Sabrina averted her gaze and said with disinterest, “I have had no involvement with him for quite sometime. Whether he is guilty or not does not concern me.”

“Really?”

“Of course. Why are you asking me about it all of a sudden?”

“It’s good that you really think so.” Blayze took a sip of tea and said frankly, “This matter involves myuncle. My uncle and Tyrone have had disagreements and now they are in competition with each other. Iwill support my uncle no matter what. I’m saying this because I don’t want you to feel bad when youfind out about it in the future. It doesn’t matter even if you want to help Tyrone. I just don’t wantanything to come between our friendship.”

Hearing this, Sabrina replied, “I understand your perspective, and I have my own stance as well. Justknow that I won’t help him or blame you for this.”

“Very well then.”

“But I’m curious. What caused such a huge rift between Tyrone and your uncle?”

“There’s no grudge. It’s just about profits,” Blayze said firmly.
