“Jennie, Tyrone and I can’t be together.”

“But why?” Jennie asked, looking at Sabrina with big, teary eyes. She thought Tyrone and Sabrina’s

relationship had bettered, and they could make up with each other soon.

Lowering her head, Sabrina sighed and said, “It’s a long story.

You’ll understand when you grow up.”

Tyrone would be Jennie’s primary source of support for the following years. Not wanting to cause

trouble or make Jennie hate Tyrone, Sabrina didn’t say anything negative about Tyrone in front of

Jennie.

From Tyrone’s narratives, Sabrina knew part of the reason Tyrone wanted to keep Jennie with him was

because he saw Jennie as a means to win her back, thus winning the bet.

Now that Tyrone had won the bet and she intended to leave, she had no idea how Tyrone would do

with Jennie in the days to come.

Sabrina was worried that he would neglect or abandon Jennie.

Sabrina comforted Jennie tenderly, consoling Jennie until Jennie’s tears finally subsided. Jennie gazed

at Sabrina with big teary eyes and lingering sorrow.novelbin

“Has he been back these days?” Sabrina raised her head to ask Karen.

Karen had already noticed that there was something wrong between Sabrina and Tyrone. She sighed

in her heart, but she couldn’t do anything. “He returned a few days ago and asked someone to collect

his belongings. He asked Jennie if she wanted to go with him. But Jennie didn’t want to leave, so she

stayed here. He dropped by for lunch the day before yesterday and spent some time playing with

Jennie.”

Sabrina felt relieved that Tyrone hadn’t abandoned Jennie entirely.

Jennie stayed here because of her. But now, she intended to Leave.

It was meaningless for Jennie to stay here any longer. Jennie might move to Tyrone’s house or

Wanda’s house.

“Jennie, do you want to live with Tyrone or great-grandma after I leave here?” Sabrina asked.

“I want to live with you,” Jennie asserted.

“You can’t, sweetheart,” Sabrina said gently. “That’s not an option.”

Jennie pouted and mumbled unhappily, “With Tyrone.” She still depended on Tyrone.

“Then, you have to listen to him. And you mustn’t bring up or compare me to your new aunt when you

have one.”

If Jennie were obedient, Galilea wouldn’t feel the need to make things difficult for Jennie and would

accept Jennie more readily.

However, if Jennie were to mention Sabrina and express a preference for her over Galilea, Sabrina

would be worried about how Galilea would treat Jennie.

Sabrina wouldn’t have expressed her concerns if Tyrone’s new girlfriend had harbored no ill feelings

toward her. She might just encourage Jennie to build a positive relationship with the new woman.

However, due to Sabrina’s strained history with Galilea, Sabrina needed to caution Jennie.

“Does Tyrone have a new girlfriend? Oh my…. He is such a bad man,”
