Chapter 103

Chapter: 103

The driver ignited the engine and was set to depart when Tyrone’s phone chimed.

Casting a swift glance at the display, he wavered briefly, then finally took the call. “Yes, Galilea, whatseems to be the matter? Understood.

I’LL get there as soon as possible.”

He concluded the call, turning to Sabrina with an apologetic expression. “Regrettably, Sabrina, I can’taccompany you to the police station now. I’ll have the driver take you instead.”

“Fine,” Sabrina responded icily.

Once Galilea’s name had been mentioned, she had anticipated this turn of events.

She had attempted to prevent him from leaving, but instead, she ended up humiliating herself.

She couldn’t sway his decision, so she resolved not to bother at all.

Studying the serene look on Sabrina’s face, Tyrone pursed his lips. An odd sensation fluttered in hischest, causing unexplainable disquiet.

Collecting himself, he unbuckled, swung the door open and stepped out.

Subsequently, he entered a different car and drove away.

The car made its way to the hospital, where Tyrone pulled into the parking area, tracked down theoffice of the psychologist, and knocked.

“Ah, Mr. Blakely, you’ve arrived. The assessment of Ms. Clifford has been completed today. I regret totell you her condition is deteriorating, not improving. I have just administered a sedative and she’s nowresting.”

Tyrone, with a stern expression, responded, “I understand.”

“I hope you’ll take this seriously. She was making progress until a couple of days ago when her stateabruptly worsened. We could be looking at a severe depressive episode, which is always challengingto manage.”

“Understood.” A nod came from Tyrone.

The deterioration in her condition was likely due to her discovering his marital status.

He approached her bedside, examining her pallid features, guilt welling up inside him.

She was once such a mild and sweet girl, but now, due to his actions, she was struggling with mentalillness, her personality transformed, even having made several suicide attempts. He couldn’t fail her.

Taking a seat next to her bed, Tyrone settled in.

After a significant passage of time, Galilea slowly stirred awake.

“Tyrone, is that you? Am I dreaming? Why are you here?”

“It’s me, Galilea. I came to visit you,” Tyrone replied with a gentle smile.novelbin

Lifting her gaze to him, Galilea softly requested, “Tyrone, could you take a day off from work tomorrowto go shopping with me?”
