"You're the one who didn't follow the rules, so I can only take you down and send you back up North,
and have the Marshal of the North deal with your transgressions."
Nathan and Colin turned to look at each other before bursting out into uncontrollable laughter.
Jaxon's face darkened when he saw the duo laughing. "Colin Dunne. Seeing as you're an active soldier
of the North, let me give you a friendly piece of advice. Stay out of this."
"If you're willing to let my brother and the rest go and hand Nathan to me, I'm willing to give you a
pass."
Colin smirked. "And if I say no?"
Jaxon didn't respond to Colin's answer directly. Instead, he turned to look at his own army and shouted
loudly, "What are we doing to do if they don't release the men?"
The Schulz camp all roared in unison, "We'll take all of them down! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
The twenty thousand-strong chant was thunderous and fear-inducing.
Jaxon and his men looked smugly at Nathan, who remained calm and collected.
Stretching his hand out with his palm facing upwards, he gave them a little wave. "Come at us."
The two thousand warriors behind him also yelled in unison, "Come at us!"
