As usual, Penny held the weekly meeting with the heads of departments the next morning.
The director of the quality inspection department only made her way into the conference room halfway
through the meeting.

"Congratulations, Sharon. If that's your final call, I'll respect your decision. I'm glad that you have been
promoted as the vice general manager of Blue Sky Corporation."
Sharon replied disdainfully, "Of course! I mean, what else can you do apart from congratulating me?
You can't possibly stop me, right? My annual income is merely five hundred thousand when I'm
attached to Cross Group. However, Mr. Johnson has offered me an annual income of two million as
long as I join Blue Sky Corporation. Do you really think I'll stay behind because of our so-called
friendship?"
When the words left Sharon's mouth, Penny's face turned pale as she couldn't believe that Sharon
