Theo didn't dare reveal Nathan's secret identity, but from the looks of it, Dip did not seem to be willing
to give up so easily either.
Hence, Theo could only equivocate about Nathan's identity. "Nathan belongs to the North Army. You
know who Franklin Wilson is, right? They were once superior and subordinate."
Theo was already hinting that Nathan is a part of the North Army!

Theo had never expected Dip to misread his hints.

Since Dip didn't catch on, Theo said vaguely, "Anyways, Nathan and Franklin are on the same side. I
would advise you not to mess with him. Listen to me. Moreover, don't look for me anymore if you
happen to come across anything related to Nathan Cross in the future."
With that, Theo bid goodbye and left.
Dip stared at Theo in disdain as the latter walked away. "Heh. Franklin Wilson is just a Major General,
whereas you are the Deputy Commissioner. You're scared of Franklin when the both of you are of the
same rank? What a weakling!"
"Although Theo is of the same rank as Franklin, he belongs to the police force. So Theo is slightly
weaker in power if you were to compare him to Franklin, who belongs to the army," His butler, Alfred,
said cautiously.
"I can understand why he doesn't want to offend Franklin and his reluctance to mess with Nathan.”
Dip said faintly, "Terrence Ortiz's son's leg was broken by Nathan. In addition to that, the Ortizs havenovelbin
been eyeing the liver cancer vaccine for some time now. Since Terrence has volunteered, I will let him
handle Nathan now that Tory is dead."
"Got it. I will inform Terrence Ortiz!" Alfred replied.
Dip narrowed his eyes and said, "Tell Terrence I want everyone to be aware when he kills Nathan. I
want the South to know that I, Dip Turner, still reign over this region."
"Yes Sir!"
Hank Tonkins and Prudence returned to
Northania in the afternoon.
Nathan, Penny, Kylie, and the rest of the Smiths sent them off at the airport.
Hank was still upset over the fact that Kylie had rejected Shane. "We're boarding now. You guys should
leave," He snorted coldly.
"Kylie, Mr. Ortiz is a fine man. Give him some thought," Prudence urged.
Kylie felt vexed. She stomped her foot and said, "Okay... Dad, Mom, leave me alone."
After sending off the Tonkins, Nathan and the rest drove home.
On the way back, Penny asked Kylie what she was planning to do next.
