Chapter 326 Bloodshed

Carl watched as the men supporting Nathan began to quake. A sneer curled his lips as he taunted,

"Scared? What if I'd asked you to pick a side again? What would you choose?"

Everyone else focused their attention on Zachary and his group. They believed that the group would

change their minds now, with the threat of death hanging over their heads.

To their surprise, Zachary and the rest bowed their heads and muttered, "Mr. Russo, sir, we still choose

to side with Mr. Cross!”

The silence was so absolute even a needle dropping could be heard.

Carl had obviously not expected this. He had thought that by giving them another chance, they would

smartly choose to stand with him.

Yet, they still insisted on siding with Nathan.

What a slap in the face that was!

Immediately, a murderous aura emanated from him. The surrounding temperature seemed to drop

several degrees, causing everyone to shrink away from him.

Carl slowly stalked over to Zachary. He abruptly lifted his hand, which had the latter shuddering and

nearly falling over in fear.

Fortunately, the hand only moved to straighten Zachary's collar and swipe at his shoulders. A malicious

smirk twisted Carl's mouth as he uttered, "Don't be scared. I didn't kill Dunn earlier, so I won't kill you all

now either. However, I can guarantee nothing after you step out of these doors. You'd better watchnovelbin

out!"

White as a sheet, Zachary murmured his goodbyes and fled, the rest of his group following.

The neutral parties like Jerry Mcgrady and Russell Crow also came over to make their excuses.

Carl eyed the mayor of Channing, Russell Crow, and mused meaningfully, "I can understand that

you've chosen to be neutral, due to your position. However, when the ripples of unrest spread through

Channing eventually, I hope that the mayor can still remain neutral.”

Russell exchanged glances with the other leaders of Channing city. Just as pointedly, he replied, "Rest

assured, we won't interfere in this matter between you and Nathan Cross.”

"That's wonderful. Yoel, please escort the mayor to the doors!” Carl brimmed with satisfaction.

After the neutral party departed, there were only the people supporting Carl left in the hall. They

practically climbed over themselves to flatter the man.

"All of you are indeed wise. When I finally obtain Cross Group, not only will Mr.

Turner share the profits with me, but all of you will get a cut as well!"

Elated, Sean and the others hurriedly thanked him, "Thank you, Mr. Russo!"

Carl narrowed his eyes dangerously. "Stand with me and you shall prosper; stand against me and only

death awaits you. Yoel..."

Yoel took a step forward, inquiring, "Yes, sir?"

"Head out with the Eighteen Hounds and teach those disobedient brats a lesson. I want the entire city

of Channing to know what would befall upon someone who goes against me."

"Yes, sir!"

Revenge was enacted upon the group of men that had declared their support of Nathan earlier.

Thomas' men had also suffered heavy casualties, with nineteen dead and more than a dozen in the

hospital. Re?d at Dr?mа?оvеls.com

However, Thomas had been prepared for his arrival and had once more evaded death.

Meanwhile, Penny and the rest had had guards secretly protecting them. None of the assassins Yoel

had sent had returned.
