Chapter 274 There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch

After Zander finished wrapping his hand, he then stretched to loosen his muscles. "We pieces of trash

are enough to kill you ten times and more," he sneered.

"Be a good boy and kneel before me right now, and I can give you a quicker death."

Nathan chuckled, "You're not worthy enough to have me kneel before you."

Zander's gaze turned to ice as he growled, "Then die!"

He leapt into action with a speed that would make anyone's jaw drop.

Only a fleeting shadow could be seen as he lunged towards Nathan.

This riled up his men and they cheered him on.

"That's amazing!"

"Mr. Zander is such a badass!"

Finish him, Mr. Zander!"

Zander wasn't holding back. He was using all that he had, and he intended to kill off Nathan as fast as

possible.

When he got close to Nathan, he propelled himself forward and raised his fist to punch him.

His punches were invincible and were usually so deafening they would alarm even the dead.

Nathan watched expressionlessly as Zander came barging towards him. He took a step forward and

casually raised his fist.

Zander saw how Nathan was underestimating him. His smirk grew wider and he could already picture

what was about to happen - Nathan sent flying by his punch.

Bang!

The two fists crashed into each other.

Right as their fists came into contact, Zander's smirk disappeared.

Instead, his expression changed to one of shock, then into pure terror.

Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.

The sound of bones breaking echoed throughout the holding cell. The bones in Zander's right arm had

shattered.

The result of the battle between the two fists was that Nathan's one punch destroyed Zander's whole

arm.

Nathan raised his leg and landed a swift kick on Zander's chest.

Zander's bulky body flew backwards and crashed loudly into the steel door, and the rest of Zander's

men inhaled sharply in disbelief.

Inside the waiting room of the detention center, Penny was waiting anxiously for Hector Packwood.

When she saw him walking in, she rushed over and asked, "Mr. Packwood, how's my husband?"

Hector shook his head. Tve just spoken to Captain Lancaster. It doesn't look good for your husband."

"He's been temporarily locked up with some heinous criminals. If he's not separated from them soon,

he might die at their hands.”

Penny was so horrified she was almost rendered speechless. "W-what?" she barely choked out.

Hector glanced at Kylie who was standing outside the waiting room. He walked over to shut the door so

only he and Penny were alone inside.

"Then please, you have to help me, Mr. Packwood. Please don't let me husband be locked in with

those criminals." urged Penny frantically.

Hector chuckled. "I can help. But what will Ms. Smith offer me in return?”

Penny froze for a few seconds before continuing, "I'll be sure to reward you with a hefty payment, Mr.

Packwood."

"That's not necessary. I don't need money."

Penny's nose flared in anger and shock. New ch?pter avаilable o? Dr?мanоvеls.cоm

"Mr. Packwood, you!"

"Surely you didn't think I would help you for free," chuckled Hector cynically.

"Why don't you put on your thinking cap about whether you want to save your husband or not."

"But I should remind you. Every minute you hesitate, your husband will be closer to death."
