Chapter 252 More Uninvited Guests
With the death of Finley, his men's faces turned gray as they realized their bleak futures. They were all
part of the underworld and had been on the other side of the law more often than not.
This time around, their arrest would lead to several years in jail, at the very least. For some of the men,
they would have to be imprisoned for more than ten years. What made things worse was that they
would be sent to a military prison, instead of just any ordinary prison.
Nonetheless, they considered this a mercy compared to what they could have been subjected to. After
all, they had broken into a military base and tried to attack the General of the North Army.
Just as Franklin ordered his men to round up the criminals, another group of uninvited guests arrived at
the gates of the base.
It was none other than Shane Larson and a group of outlaws.
After he had been humiliated at the party, he had used a small fortune to hire several outlaws in
preparation to kill Cross for what he had done.
Earlier today, he had sent one of his men to follow Cross so he would know where the latter went. Now
that he knew the man was at an 'abandoned pharmaceutical factory', he had brought the outlaws with

His assistant, Chase Li, stared at the hundreds of cars parked before the gates. Unable to contain his
shock, he exclaimed, "Sir, why are there so many cars out here in the middle of nowhere? It's just an
abandoned factory!”
Shane grinned as he replied, "It's the heir to the Zabinski family, Finley Zabinski, and his various
followers' cars. I heard the Zabinski family had summoned all their followers to Channing, with Finley
personally leading the charge to get revenge on Cross. With the presence of all these cars, I'm sure
they're inside right now, beating the crap out of Cross."
Chase blinked in surprise before stating, "If the Zabinski family is already here to get their revenge on
Cross then what are we doing here? We might as well head back and wait for news of his death."
Shaking his head, Shane growled, "No. Where's the satisfaction of getting revenge if I'm not the one
doing it? Besides, the Larson family are friends of the Zabinski family. We should go in as well. Maybe
Mr. Zabinski might even be willing to let me have a go at Cross before he kills him."
Waving his hand, he ordered, "C'mon, let's head inside before Cross dies."
With that, the group of men rushed inside the base, Shane calling out as they went, "Mr. Zabinski, Mr.
Zabinski! Is that bastard, Cross dead yet? If he isn't, let me have a go at him!"
At the spacious training grounds, the soldiers were systematically rounding up the Zabinski family's
men. When they heard Shane's shouts, their heads simultaneously swiveled to look in his direction.
Realizing something was off, Shane and his group of outlaws did a double take and screeched to a
halt, staring with wide eyes at the scene before them.
This is a secret military base!
With a face that was rapidly draining of color, he spun around, ready to flee.
Unfortunately for him, it was too late. Two teams of soldiers had already dashed over and surrounded
