refuting the rumors. How could Nathan Cross do this if not for his immense influence and power?"

This was something that Giovanni could not figure out as well, so he turned to Jerry.

Cross's ability that made all the television stations take action at once," he said as he sneered.

Jerry began to analyze the situation confidently, "Based on my knowledge, the person in charge of the

Channing Television Station, Maja Ivanov, was transferred here from the North. Apparently, she comes

from quite a distinguished background and is not here because of her ability. Now that the channel was

hacked with the broadcast of Penny Smith's doctored photos, it definitely must have infuriated Maja. I'm

guessing that Maja used her family connections to clarify this incident with all of the television stations."

Giovanni felt that Jerry's analysis made a lot of sense.

Relieved of his worries, he finally smiled and said, "There you go. I've already said that there was no

way a retired soldier like Nathan could have such astounding abilities."

Sylvie was caught in conflicting emotions when she heard Jerry's analysis.

She was relieved and happy to hear that Nathan Cross and Penny Smith were not as capable as she

However, she was worried as it was her idea that had infuriated Maja Ivanov, the head of the Channing
