Chapter 216 Why Should I Leave Without Saying Goodbye
Penny helped out in the kitchen while Leah sewed the button onto Nathan's shirt.
Nathan had his daughter in his arms and they watched cartoon together.
Kylie's eyes darted around before she sat down next to Nathan quietly and stared at him.
The latter still looked calm, but he was already laughing bitterly in his mind. He knew that Kylie had
started to suspect him.
Acting puzzled, he turned and asked Kylie, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
After blinking a few times, she lowered her voice and asked curiously, "Nathan, tell me the truth. Were
you the one who saved me yesterday?"
She continued, "After all, you knew that I went to Indigo Club yesterday and I realized that you are
rather good at fighting at the showroom earlier..." "I am sure you don't think that I was the man who
was brave enough to save you yesterday?" Nathan asked.
Kylie scoffed, "Just tell me honestly. Was that you?"
Nathan replied with a smile, "Kylie, if I were the one who saved you, why would I leave without saying
goodbye then?"
"Isn't it better for you to be indebted to me? That way, you won't look down on me anymore!"
Kylie was stunned as she heard his words.
Yes, if it was Nathan who saved me, why would he just leave like that? We are relatives after all!
Hence, Kylie's earlier thoughts started to think again.
Her face was full of doubts as she could not determine whether Nathan was indeed the man who saved
her yesterday.
At this moment, Penny set the table with the dishes and called everyone, "Time to
eat!”

when she heard Nathan's suggestion.

Nathan assured her with a smile, "Don't worry, leave that to me. I will be in charge of bringing in

vaccine which was produced by the research institute that Kylie works at. We will be rich then!"
Penny and her family looked at him in surprise while Kylie threw a blow at him, "Don't be ridiculous.
Cross Corporation is not big enough to get the manufacturing rights for the vaccine."
Everyone else thought that Nathan was stretching it too far. They all knew how valuable the vaccine for
liver cancer would be.
