Chapter 199 Teach Them A Lesson

From those words, Nathan knew these men were here because of that fop he dealt with earlier that

afternoon.

In an indifferent tone, he said, "I can already guess who you are based on your demeanor; your

backgrounds have saved your lives. If you leave right now, I won't take offense for what you've done so

far."

William was mildly surprised as he did not expect Nathan to know who they were. Despite that, he

burst into laughter at his speech.

"Hahaha! You don't seem to understand your situation, do you? Right now, you're at our mercy, it is not

the other way around."

With that, William gestured at his men. "Men, get Cross and trash this place up. Break the limbs of

anyone who dares to go against you!”

"Yes, sir!" his men answered in high spirit.

William was very confident with the abilities of his men. In his mind, if Cross and his men had decided

to go against them, they would be futile like a child going against a giant.

Nathan gave orders to his men as he was ticked off by his impudence. "Let's see if you have the bite to

match your bark. Colin, Thomas, teach them a lesson!"

"Yes, sir!"

With that shout, Colin and Thomas led the rest of the men as they charged to meet with their

opponents.

The two sides clashed together violently and all hell broke loose.

In an instant, terrible cries of pain and the coppery tang of blood filled the air of the restaurant.

William had thought that this would be a one-sided massacre, but the scene before him had him gaping

in shock with his eyes wide open.

It was true there was a massacre but contrary to his expectations, his men were the ones being bashed

up and not the

other way around.

In that initial rush, more than a dozen of his men had fallen to the floor, howling in pain. A few more

seconds later, all of his men were on the ground.

For a moment, he wondered if he was dreaming. How could his men not be a match for Dunn and hisnovelbin

ragtag bunch of friends? How could they have lost so badly?

After Thomas and the rest were done with William's men, they turned their hostile gazes toward the

leader himself. Their eyes did not leave William as Colin asked, "Sir, what should we do with him?”

Nathan answered in a mild tone, "He can share his cousin's fate."

In a flash, Thomas' hand darted out.

William instinctively raised his hands to defend himself. Unfortunately for him, his combat skills were

insignificant when he fought against Thomas, who used to be part of Nathan's National Guards.

Catching the fist William had swung, Thomas twisted the other man's arm harshly.

With that, the militia commander's arm was broken with a loud crack.

"Ahhh!"

William's wail of pain was particularly piercing.

At the same time, in the VIP room of Adventist Private Hospital.

Douglas, Jerry, and the others were still at Giovanni's bedside.

Douglas was comforting Giovanni, "Giovanni, relax. Your cousin has already brought his men to go and

deal with Cross. We should be getting the good news sometime soon."

He had barely finished speaking when the room door slammed open and a disheveled-looking man

stumbled into the room. It was William.

Douglas' face darkened as he lectured his son, "Show a little decorum. I thought you were supposed to

be getting revenge for your cousin? How did it go?"

William gritted his teeth as he bit out, "Dad, I got beaten up!"

His father was surprised and he checked, "Who did it?"

Pointing at the right arm hanging limply by his side, he growled, "Cross ordered Dunn to do it. All the

men I brought with me were injured in a fight with them. Just like dear cousin Giovanni, my arm was

broken too."

Douglas was enraged and he roared, "Contact Caleb and have him gather the team. We're going after

those bastards!" 'Yes, sir!
