Chapter 1644
No matter how many bullets were pelting down on the sedans, they only left them pockmarked withcountless faint white marks.
It seemed unlikely that the bullets could cause any damage to the sedans in a short period of time.
Just then, an exceptionally burly man with a beard emerged. With a cigar dangling off his mouth, hemade his appearance wearing a black combat boots.
The man who looked as muscular as a robot was a highly regarded member of the Armageddon -the Grim Reaper.
With a cigar in his mouth, the Grim Reaper narrowed his eyes as he watched the rain of bulletsshowering at the sedans. Frowning slightly at the sight, he snarled, “These are the sedansexclusively used by the president! The God of War is quite a prudent man huh? Are those guns allwe have got from Mr. Tucker? Did he provide us anything more exciting?”
One of his sidekicks answered, “There's a bazooka!”
In a frosty voice, the Grim Reaper demanded, “Bring it over!”
Soon, the sidekick came back with the bazooka on his shoulder.
The Grim Reaper took it over effortlessly as if it was just a toy made of plastic.
With a sinister smile, he aimed the bazooka at the sedan Nathan was in. “Ha ha, your doomsday ishere, God of War!”
Then, he launched a missile from the bazooka without hesitation.
Whoosh!
Along with a fiery flame tail, the missile swooped down in the direction of the sedans.
Colin and the other drivers had long sensed its movement before they were hit by it.
“Back away immediately!” Colin growled at the walkie talkie.
At the same time, Colin and the other two drivers floored the accelerators to bring their carsbackward as far as they could. Just as they retreated about several meters away from the spot, themissile landed on the ground with an explosion.
Following a deafening blast, smoke and dust permeated the air.
Other than the sedan Nathan was in, the other two flipped over due to the monumental impact ofthe explosion.
The first thing Colin did subsequent to the explosion was yelling at the walkie talkie. “Tell me yourcondition.”
“Sedan number two has flipped over. Everyone is all right.”
“Sedan number three has flipped over. Some of us are slightly injured, but all of us are still ready tocombat.”
Solemnly, Nathan instructed, “Colin, protect Kylie well and contact Major-General Long from theGuardian Special Forces for backup.”
“As for the rest of the members of Elite Eight, get your weapons ready to execute a counterattackon our enemies with me!”
As soon as Nathan said that, he pushed Kylie gently toward the corner of the backseat to make wayfor him. Then, he lifted the entire seat up to reveal a storage place where a pile of weapons and
bullets were stashed.
Kylie's jaw dropped at the sight of the weapons.
Nathan loaded a pistol and handed it to Kylie. “Take this. If someone breaks the window later andColin is not available to protect you, use this pistol to protect yourself.”
After stuffing the pistol into her hands, Nathan grabbed a submachine gun of the newest model andexited the car.
As soon as he was outside, he pelted toward the mercenaries at an unbelievably fast speed.
Immediately, his presence attracted a sleet of bullets. Numerous bullets hit the spot where he ranpast, causing splashes of mud on the ground.
Although the mercenaries focused their attack on Nathan as soon as he was seen, none of theirbullets managed to hit him.
Just as they finished firing all their bullets, it was Nathan's time to launch his counterattack.novelbin
Holding a submachine gun in one hand, he paraded toward the mercenaries with a poker-facedexpression. As he fired away, the mercenaries squealed agonizingly and slumped onto the groundas they were hit by the bullets from Nathan's gun.
At the same time, the soldiers of the Elite Eight too alighted from the sedans with weapons in theirhands. They joined Nathan in his
counterattack on the mercenaries.
When Nathan's submachine gun ran out of bullets, two of the mercenaries immediately advancedon him with daggers. In a swift motion, Nathan reloaded his submachine gun and pulled the trigger
to blast the two mercenaries away from him.
Swoosh!
In the blink of an eye, a guy with an incredibly muscular build lunged toward Nathan like a bull.
It was the Grim Reaper.
