Chapter 1579

Late at night, clothes were strewn all over the floor in the presidential suite of Excellent Hotel.

Phoebe was lying in Santiago's arms, exhausted from the vigorous activity.

Listening to his heartbeat, she drew suggestive circles on his chest. “You were awesome,” shewhispered.

Santiago merely laughed.

“When will you make a move?” she asked. “Nathan is taking some time off to visit his family. This isa perfect opportunity. If he returns to North Army, it won't be easy to get him.”

Santiago returned with a smile. “How do you want to take revenge?”

Phoebe declared, “I want him dead!”

“There are a lot of ways to kill a man,” said Santiago with a light chuckle. “I can kill him quick andbrutally by stabbing him. He'll die instantly.”novelbin

“I can torture him until he suffers from a mental breakdown. When he is utterly wrecked, only thenI'll kill him. Tell me. What is your pick?” he asked.

Phoebe's gaze was full of hatred as she raised a brow. “If I get to choose, of course, I want totorture him before killing him.”

Santiago narrowed his eyes. “I have a plan.”

It was New Year the next day

Penny, Kylie, Ava and several other executives from Cross Group made a trip to the biggest

orphanage in Channing to visit the kids there.

With great power came great responsibility.

Ever since Cross Group had expanded, Penny did her best to donate more to charity and helpthose in need.

Besides sponsoring many poor students, she had also made donations to the orphanages and oldfolks' homes to improve their facilities.

After getting pregnant with her second child, she felt wonderful and wanted to spread warmth toothers as well.

Today, they arrived at the orphanage to visit the orphans.

Also, she wanted to know what the orphans needed.

She would do whatever she could to help.

There were over two hundred orphans in Channing Orphanage. Most of them were both with birthdefects.

It was hard for those who were born with disabilities to get adopted.

The kids could only remain in the orphanage until they reached the legal age. By then, they wouldhave to leave the orphanage and work hard to survive in the society.

Taking care of over two hundred orphans was not an easy feat. It required a substantial amount ofmoney to run the orphanage.

Besides, some orphans who were born with congenital diseases had to take expensive medicationregularly.

Channing Orphanage survived by receiving a meager allowance from the local government, andfunds raised by helpful people.

The director of the orphanage was a lady in her sixties—Dorthea Molven.

She had two staff working for her—Sonny and Christa.

The three of them struggled to run and maintain the orphanage by themselves.

Penny was their biggest benefactor for now.

Hence, Dorthea brought her staff and all the orphans to welcome Penny this very day.

“Hello, Ms. Smith!” she greeted Penny warmly.

Penny took her hand with a smile. “Hello, Ms.

Molven.”

Dorthea immediately ordered the kids. “Quick, greet Ms. Smith!”

The kids murmured politely. “Hello, Ms. Smith!”

“Hello, children!” Penny beamed.

She immediately instructed Kylie and the rest to move in the stuff she brought for the orphanage —new clothes, new shoes, cooking oil, rice, and books for the kids.

At the same time, she also donated two million in cash to improve the living quarters of the kids.

Dorthea was elated. “Thank you, Ms. Smith.

You're a saint. Thank you on behalf of the kids.”

Penny shook her head and said, “No, don't thank me. Ms. Molven, you've dedicated your entire lifeto this orphanage. You're the real saint.”
