Chapter 1359 General Of The North

Nathan stared at Derek and Mason who were kneeling on the ground with cold eyes and sneered,"Today is my wedding day so I won't take things to heart. Both of you, disabled one of your armsand get out of Channing. Never let me see you again.”

Derek and his son felt a sliver of hope when they heard that Nathan wouldn't take things to heart.

But their faces immediately turned ashen when they were ordered to cut off their own arm.

But this was actually quite the 'better off' consequences for offending the General.

If it weren't Nathan's wedding today, with his temper, the father-son duo would have been dead.

Derek didn't dare to have any objections. After looking around, he found a piece of a wooden stickand hit himself hard on his left arm.

With a loud snap, Derek's left arm was broken.

Cold sweat broke out and his face was contorted in pain, but he didn't even dare to cry out in pain.

Mason's face was pale as he followed suit. He took the wooden stick from his father and broke hisown arm.novelbin

Everyone felt chills all over their bodies when they heard the sound of bones breaking.

The crowd also felt a sense of awe when they looked at Nathan.

Derek and his son should've taken a good look at who Mr. Cross really is. You're really courtingdeath when you came here to bully Ms. Smith. The crowd thought to themselves.

Derek's face grimaced in pain as he said weakly, "General, I'll sell off all our properties once I'mback. Please give me some time."

Nathan said coldly, "Two days. I'm only giving you two days to get the hell out of Channing."

"Yes, General!”

Derek's heart was bleeding as he had to sell off all his shares and properties within a short period oftwo days. He predicted that he would even have to sell his shares at a loss. Otherwise, none of thelarge buyers would buy it in such a short period of time.

He was full of regret. If I knew this would happen, I'd rather die than bully Penny.

However, there were no ifs and buts in this world. Derek and his son were lucky enough to be ableto keep their lives. Not daring to say anything else, they scuttled away along with their subordinates.

Meanwhile, Nathan scanned the crowd and the smile returned to his face. He said casually, "Thankyou all for coming to my wedding with Penn. Please make yourselves comfortable. I'll be sure tohave a few drinks with all of you today."

Franklin, Patrick, and the others in the crowd smiled and cheered.

Sean and his family were still full of shock when they looked at Nathan. They couldn't process whathad happened and couldn't accept that Nathan was actually the General of the North.

Sean rushed to Nathan along with the rest of his family. He couldn't help but ask, "Nathan, are youreally the General of the North? Am I dreaming? Do you mind slapping me so that I can be sure I'mnot dreaming?"

Nathan smiled and replied, "Old Master, you're not dreaming. All of this is real. I am the General ofthe North. But I'm not any different from the other soldiers. We're all here for the country and toprotect the country and its people from harm. You don't have to look at me differently. It's also why Ididn't tell you all my identity previously."

Sean was so excited, he grabbed hold of Benson in one hand and Leah in the other as heexclaimed, "This son-in-law of yours is really something! Penn has great taste! Your family has greattaste! Haha! God bless the Smith family!"

Everyone from the Smith family stared at Penny with envy in their eyes.

Penny was calm despite the honor. It didn't matter even if Nathan was an ordinary retired soldier orthe General of the North. He was still the man she loved. He was her husband. That was why herfeelings for him wouldn't change because of his identity.

Benson and Leah were extremely proud and happy when they saw the envy in their friends andfamily's eyes.

None of the elders in the Smith family loved them in the past. Now that they have Nathan as theirson-in-law, they had finally made a name for themselves.

The one who felt the most awkward was Penny's cousin, Ferlyn.

Before Nathan was back, Ferlyn was still ridiculing Penny. She mocked Penny that she was going toget married to a murderer and that it was embarrassing as there were only few guests who attendedher wedding.

She didn't expect Nathan to be back. He was even dressed in his uniform and exuded an aura likethat of a monarch overlooking the world.

Ferlyn was feeling both ashamed and envious as she watched Penny who was standing shoulder toshoulder with Nathan.
