Chapter 1322 Wyatt Windsor

Nathan stopped as soon as he heard the voice.

Drenched in cold sweat, Andy felt as though his soul had been bought back from the grim reaper.

The Jordan family's subordinates also heaved a huge sigh of relief.

They wouldn't know what to tell Old Master Jordan if Andy had been crippled or even killed byNathan.

All of them looked towards the entrance of the restaurant.

What they saw was a tall, skinny young man walking into the restaurant with several bodyguards.

The young man had fair and flawless skin and exuded an aura of superiority that came naturally, itwas the kind of aura that could not be imitated or cultivated.

Some of his bodyguards carried black suitcases, while others walked in like they were trainedgunmen.

Anyone could easily tell that these men were the best security detail team from the military.

The young man was none other than Wyatt Windsor, the son of President Hansel Windsor whoseterm of office was expiring soon.

Wyatt was President Windsor's son with his late wife. After the death of his first wife, he remarriedCamilla Quinn.

Hansel and Camilla did not have any children since they tied the knot.

Therefore, Wyatt was Hansel's only child.

Nathan was surprised to see Wyatt as he didn't expect the latter to show up over here.

He was able to become the General of the North for several reasons. The first was because he hadmade countless contributions to the North.

Another important reason was because both the President and the First Lady were exceptionallykind to him.

If he had not gained the President and First Lady's recognition, he wouldn't have been able tobecome a general at such a young age.

Naturally, Nathan have a great sense of respect and gratitude for Hansel and Camilla.

Therefore, he was also very courteous when he saw Wyatt. In a surprised tone, he asked, "Whatare you doing here, Wyatt?”novelbin

Wyatt smiled and answered, "Haha, I made a trip here from Brimmopolis specially."

Nathan was even more surprised when he heard this.

Wyatt continued to explain while smiling, "I heard about the little conflict between you and theJordans. Given that my family has good relations with both your family and the Jordan family, I donot wish to see such conflict between the two of you, so I specially made a trip here to playpeacemaker. I hope that for my sake, you

two can take a step back and reconcile. How does that sound?”

Nathan said calmly, "I can turn a cold shoulder to anyone else, but you are the one that I won't. Ican promise to end things right here, though I'm not sure if the Jordans will cooperate."

Wyatt then turned to look at Andy.

Clutching his injured right arm, Andy said to Wyatt respectfully, "Your word matters the most.Regardless of how big the dispute is, my family will let it go.”

Wyatt said with a happy smile on his face, "Very good. It's great to hear that both of you are able tolet bygones be bygones. Tonight, I will be hosting a banquet at the Channing International Hotel, and both of you will get first dibs on liquor. Many socialites of the South will be present, so let usthree sit down and have a good feast.”

Nathan suddenly recalled that Wyatt had a reputation for being a womanizer, and he would ofteninvite socialites to accompany him during banquets.

Nathan absolutely despised such gatherings.

So he declined Wyatt's offer, saying, "I'm so sorry I have to turn you down. My family hasexperienced trauma today, so I would like to spend time with them at home. You go on ahead andenjoy yourself tonight."

Wyatt responded, "Indeed, Nathan. You rarely have time to spend with your family usually, so youshould take the chance to accompany them tonight."

Nathan chatted with Wyatt for a short while, then excused himself and said goodbye.

He left the restaurant with his family and drove home.

After Nathan left, the smile on Wyatt's face disappeared, and his expression turned gloomy.

Andy, who was standing beside Wyatt at this moment, said cautiously. "Wyatt,

Nathan only said all those things out of respect for your parents. He doesn't actually think much ofyou. Look at how he refused your invitation to tonight's banquet. How impudent!"

Wyatt responded coldly, "He is nothing but a pet dog raised by my father and stepmother. I havenever taken him seriously before."

Andy laughed and said, "Indeed. How could Nathan ever compare to you? It is said that thePresident actually wanted to make you General of the North that year, but the First Lady sangpraises about Nathan and convinced the President to make him general instead. So, just like that,Nathan was promoted to his current position as General of the North.”

Wyatt glanced at Andy, then said placidly, "Those are just rumors, and they're simply not true.Nathan was able to become general because of his contributions to the North. This cannot bedenied."

Andy then replied with a smile, "Yes, yes. Nevertheless, I believe that if you were

chosen as General of the North instead, your leadership skills would not be inferior to Nathan's."

This time, Wyatt did not refute Andy's claims.

His face darkened, and there was a hint of resentment in his eyes.
