Chester quickly regained his composure and retorted coldly, "You have even defeated Spider. Itlooks like you have a trick or two up your sleeve."

"Well, you may be able to defeat one man, but you can't defeat all of my henchmen!"

He paused before ordering his men, "Go! Whoever kills Nathan Cross will be awarded ten million!"

At his order, his other henchmen took action at once apart from his bodyguards.

They charged at Nathan like a pack of wolves.

Together, he and the Elite Eight stepped up to face the Carneys.

Within seconds, they were engaged in a fight.

Hence, Chester thought his henchmen would settle Nathan's gang in no time.

With that said, he pulled out his gun and pointed it at Nathan.

The turn of events shook the Smiths greatly.

Nathan, however, stayed calm. He glanced at Chester's gun and replied, "How dare you show offyour stupid gun in front of me?"

Chester sneered, "Ha! Useless gun? There are 20 bullets inside which is enough to kill everyonehere. Now, I want you to kneel before me!"

"You're threatening me with that gun of yours?” Nathan inquired without a hint of fear.

Chester's face darkened as he threatened, "If you don't, I'll shoot you right in the head."

Nathan grinned. "You haven't even pulled out the firing pin. How will you shoot me right in myhead?"

Taken aback, Chester lowered his head and noticed he hadn't pulled out the firing pin yet. Therewas no way the gun would work.

After hearing that, he pulled out the firing pin immediately; but at that point in time, Nathan shouted,"Colin!”

A veteran soldier and master sharpshooter, Colin took out his gun from his belt without hesitation.Without even aiming, he fired a shot in Chester's direction.

Bang!

The bullet hit Chester's right hand, sending blood gushing out from the wound.

With a horrible wail, Chester released his grip on the gun, and it dropped to the ground with a thud.

His face was twisted in pain and anger.

His bodyguards were about to take action, but Colin pointed his gun at them and ordered coldly,"Don't move unless you have a death wish."

With that said, Colin walked towards Chester and kicked his gun away.

Nathan looked at Chester who was lying on the floor and said, "Kneel!"

Chester's face darkened at once. "What?

I'm one of the Carneys. Our family is influential in Brimmopolis and the entire nation. How dare youask me to kneel at your feet?”
