Chapter 1217 Do You Not Trust Me Honey

Penny's expression fell while Frida grimaced.

Her fight with Tyler earlier had shown her that she was no match for the Ten Princes of Hell. Shehad not even been able to handle him alone, yet here were two of them, each of them of higherrank than Tyler.

Frida had no idea how they were going to get out of this alive.

Just then, Nathan uttered in a hard tone, "Gehenna again? You guys really are like cockroaches."

He handed the car keys to Frida, instructing, "Frida, drive Penny home first. I can handle thingshere."

Frida's eyes widened as she stared at him in shock. She questioned, "You want us to leave youbehind alone? Can you handle it?"

"Just go!" he replied calmly.

Penny spoke up worriedly, "Nathan..."

He smiled at her and stated, "It's okay. You guys can go first. I'll be back after I'm done dealing withthem. Don't you trust me, Honey?”

This was not the first time Penny had seen her husband in action. Indeed, he was quite strong ashe had been serving in the army for so many years. His combat skills had to be of a certain level tohave survived for so long.

Finally, she nodded. "Alright then. Frida and I shall wait for you at the parking lot."

"Okay!"

With that, Frida ushered Penny away.

Garza and Teneb moved to stop them but Nathan's bulky figure stepped in their way.

His lips were upturned in a smirk as he said, "I already told Tyler just now to warn your organizationnot to come looking for trouble again. Not only did you not listen, but you became even moreaggravating. Well, why are you leaving when you only just got here?"

Garza and Teneb exchanged furious expressions.

A wicked smile pulled the scars on Garza's face, lending him an even more menacing look. "Heypunk, Master Orcus has orders for us to bring your dead body back if you didn't know any better. Now, die!"

The words had barely left his lips when he dashed toward Nathan, his speed turning him into a blur.

The rest of his men could feel their blood rushing through their veins in excitement as they cheeredhim on.

Whoosh!

When Garza was close to Nathan, his leg flashed out to kick the other man's head.novelbin

Nathan casually took a step back, nimbly avoiding the attack.

Garza's leg continued unimpeded until it impacted a nearby lamp post.

Clang!

The thick pole crumpled beneath his leg before crashing to the floor with a loud thump.

Screams and shouts of terror sounded from the passers-by.

Like some sort of phantom, Garza once more neared Nathan and swept his leg out again, this timeaiming for the other man's legs.

Another two steps backwards and Nathan dodged his sweep.

All along his sweep, the bricks on the floor shattered into dust alarmingly.

The battle continued in the same vein, with Garza relentlessly attacking while Nathan effortlesslyavoided all of them.

Nathan shook his head, disappointment written across his face. "I had heard that Gehenna was notonly the nation's strongest mercenary organization but also the best in this continent. The TenPrinces of Hell were supposedly top-tier fighters, each a master in their own right. But having seenfor myself your skills, I don't really get what the hype is all about. You guys are pretty mediocre."

Mediocre?

Garza, Teneb, their men, even the surrounding spectators were all stunned to hear his words.

One kick from Garza could topple a lamp pole and another kick would shatter all the bricks on thefloor. Someone with that kind of ability was only considered mediocre by Nathan?

Rage.

Pure, unadulterated rage!

Garza was absolutely incensed and he challenged, "Why don't you stop evading my attacks then?Fight me like a real man!"

He shot toward Nathan like a cannonball, his fist raised as he swung it at the other man.
